How do you remove Stuff Nation?
March 2nd, 2013 at 1:00 pm by David FarrarThe old Stuff website allowed you to customise your frontpage so you can choose which sections to see. This allowed you to remove the Stuff Nation section so that you wouldn’t see it unless you wanted it.
That ability seems to have disappeared. Or maybe it is just me. Does anyone know if there is a way to hide Stuff Nation?

That you can’t remove Stuff Nation is evidence that your computer has been infected with the latest variant of Stuxnet.

By not going to the Stuff website.

I don’t know what Stuff Nation is, but I’m suspecting it might be something where real NZers express their opinions, and it is therefore something the ruling self professed liberal elite (living in the rarified air of Wellington) would prefer not to observe.

And once again, red doesn’t know what he is talking about, but is certain to have an opinion about it.

While we’re at it, how do I remove the dickhead tweets from the foot of the screen when an expert is brought to a current affairs TV program only to have his image over-pasted with stupid, rank, inane and imbecilic tweets from obviously non-experts.
Seven Sharp have me reaching for the remote (fast forward on MySky) every time. Fools, it is very seven-unsharp.

Wow, eggshit, sounds like I might have hit the target even though I was firing blind.

I agree with Gazzmaniac and have not visited Stuff’s website for 2013 to date excluding direct links. Not sure what angle they’re trying to hit but if it’s crowdsourced news with no journalists then I think they’ve nailed it. Unfortunately other people are doing it a lot better.

I expect a plugin for your browser, like WebMonkey, could be instructed to excise the offending material.
If one uses AdBlock or it’s ilk a custom filter that would do the job is probably possible to construct.

Sellotape a bit of paper onto your monitor at the place where Stuff Nation appears. Works for me.

No trust me RB, you don’t want to look at it. It’s a bit like listening to late night talkback radio, which I also avoid.

What Reid said Red: sounds like a good idea, but it’s not.

I contacted them and was told that it had gone and they hope it might be able to be customised again in the future and was then asked instead of skipping it it if I had thought about contributing a story instead – tui billboard anyone.

“What Reid said Red: sounds like a good idea, but it’s not.”
Well, I can’t see the problem. I had to search it out and then click on the page to load it.
After that I read a lot of uninformed left wing liberal crap for sure, but that is the true state of the NZ population.
Its this way because too many of their politicians are liars and cowards, their education system is totally dysfunctional and controlled by communists, and their media is politically corrupt and also controlled by communists.
Is the problem the horrible truth that becomes apparent after reading stuff Nation- that the left have utterly ruined this country and there’s fuck all to be done about it?.

When the tele went digital late last year, I didn’t get a dish and I don’t watch liberal bullshit MSM television any longer.
Life is good.
No more swearing at John Campbell, no more Walrus, no more bullshit simpleton news readers spewing ‘info-tainment’ at me.
One can stay better informed by putting some effort into more efficient information outlets, and I (and more importantly my kids) are no longer being steadily bombarded by one sided propaganda.
I highly recommend it.

Well at least they have put Stuff Nation near the bottom of the page now. So many of the stories are from misinformed people. It is an absolute disgrace.

The only thing wrong with Stuff Nation is that they left the ed off of Stuff.
