A rambling rant by Winston Peters…

New Zealand First’s position is that these substances should be banned – full stop. They are designed to help their manufacturers, distributors and retailers get rich, while the idiots who consume them get off their faces, with lighter pockets. From all the research and discussion we have had, we cannot find any benefit to humankind whatsoever.

…was of course not against tobacco and alcohol. He was rubbishing the Psychotic Substances Bill – in stark contrast to Barbara Stewart’s praise and support of the bill in both her first and second reading speeches.

Will NZ First minds and votes be altered? Was Winston just trying to play to a different audience? Or was it just some temporary mind altering?

It is interesting how a pro Obama news source like CNN chooses to word this. (note the spelling mistake of “Morsy”)

Morsi is part of the radical Islamist Muslim Brotherhood. The people are rising up against strict Islamic tyranny. Would they have reported it this way if security forces clashed against the Taliban.

How about this; “Civilians killed in protests against Muslim radicals” ” Egyptians demanding a free and secular state were shot dead by Obama backed Islamists overnight”

hj -Morgan is just a closet communist with every problem requiring a tax to solve it. (But I am sure his millions are safe in a Cayman Island bank account (like David Shearer – they probably have consecutive account numbers) where they can’t be accessed by any Kiwi tax authority. Some people are more equal than others. Morgan just wants to design and write down his crazy schemes – not actually live under them. As soon as things started going pear-shaped he would be on the next plane out, leaving the prols to deal with the mess. High five?

hj – while I agree there should be a capital gains tax (which should include the family home) I don’t think it wil have the affect on the market you imply. They just aren’t making anymore land in the suburbs that the Green party hangers on, that we see in the paper every time this comes up, want to move to ie Herne Bay.

In regard to the gender quota debate, I think there is confusion between equality and being the same. I regard all people as equal, but different. You may be a better politician, or make more money, than me, but in my view we are equal as people.

Women may, or may not be, good political leaders. They may, or may not, want to work in that role. Either way it says nothing about equality or a persons worth.

We should celebrate our differences and not try to social engineer away millions of years of evolution. In fact diversity is the greatest asset humanity has in favour of its survival and development. If we were all the same, we would still be living in trees.

The Senior Public servant who drove contrary to her limited licence broke a court order. She also lied to the Police though lucky for her she dropped that pretense in Court. She was lucky to get a limited licence as she was sufficiently well paid to use taxis for the purposes she needed the licence. She would suffer financial hardship perhaps but not extreme hardship. She has the initial support of her Chief Executive but given her position I believe she cannot hold hold a senior position. And I question the judgement of her Chief Executive. Perhaps a Demotion would be appropriate in these circumstances. At the Deputy Level trust and telling the truth is paramount.

Labour probably thinks their policy will appeal to women. I doubt it. The majority of women are more fair minded and actually like men. They do not see themselves as an underclass or victims.

The trouble is that decent well balanced people, of either gender, are not prone to political activism. They are too busy getting on with life. This means vocal minorities end up dictating the path [state] social policy takes in our society.

We really only have ourselves to blame for this state of affairs. To have the gumption to openly suggest (as you put it) “Genital-based selection criteria.” shows how confident the extreme left have become.

Just back from town. Minto and his rent a mob are protesting outside Smith and Caughy’s making Queen Street look really untidy.

I counted the protesters ,all 32 of them, I will now be interested to see how many the news numbers them at.

It proved once again that all protest movements sole purpose is so ugly people can hook and have sex, what a sad looking bunch.

I remember an Asset Sales/Maori Sovereignty/Smash the State etc etc protest outside my office earlier in the year.
The Herald and TV3 excitedly reported that “Thousands”were marching in Protest.
I counted 50-100. And most of these were the same smelly unwashed no hopers that you will have seen blindly following Minto around this morning…

Evill, a recent graduate of Victoria University in New Zealand, wants to update the process of healing of broken limbs with something a little more modern: 3D printing.

Evill created the Cortex cast, a breathable, lightweight, recyclable and washable exoskeleton that mimics the body’s trabecular, the small honeycomb-like structure that makes up your inner bone structure.

The cast lets in plenty of air, which prevents that stuffy, itchy feeling.

Interesting to see Jacinda Ardern doing the Big Sleepout to show solidarity with homeless people.

Isn’t this the same MP who was whinging in the Herald a few yhears back about the inhumanity of not being able to afford a Ponsonby Villa in her mid 20s? I seem to quite vividly remember reading such an article.

Sadly I don’t think Egypt will now smoothly ease int elections and democracy. I think much of their society and history is clan based, and each group puts itself first. Anyone different, by ethnicity, religion or political spectrum is a potential enemy. I believe they will remain an autocracy, the only changes will be who’s on top this month. They will still hate the Jews, the Crusader Westerners, and their opposite Muslim schisms ( Shiite, Sunni, Alawite, Druze) etc etc.

And while I would like to blame Islam, which seems to be a very suitable creed for the violence this engenders, there are exceptions. In my travels in Indonesia, I found a population that was very well educated, lawful, peaceful and friendly. They were interested in how our political system worked. Several asked me what was meant by NZ being a Dominion. For God’s sake, how many Kiwis know that.

So I believe we (the western world) should not take sides, should not support any with arms or aid, should not accept refugees, and should just ring fence the whole area and let them sort it out. After all, how far has intervention worked over the last 2000 years. Let them rejoin society when their civilisations have grown up.

Oh yes, nearly forgot. If emigrants from that region want to be involved in any way, assist them by repatriating them and their families free of charge.

Here’s a detailed article on the guys behind that pedo case which started when a sharp-eyed Internal Affairs investigator in Wgtn noticed some modelling photos. I wonder if the fact the media here have been relatively quiet about it has anything to do with the fact his “parents” were a gay couple and we wouldn’t want to imply anything negative about gays, would we. One imagines they wouldn’t have been so quiet if the parents had been say, a white husband and wife hetero couple who both worked in the banking industry. One imagines Campbell Live and SevenSharp would have been crawling all over it, then.

Reid, the New Zealander involved was living in Australia.

RadioNZ had a detailed Morning Report interview with the internal affairs investigator who started the whole thing by recognising that seemingly innocent (presumably purporting to be non-sexual and obviously non-explicit) photos were in fact pedo poses and from there followed the unravelling spoken of in that article.

Since one of the partners was a NZer this makes it newsworthy in itself, and plenty of stories are done all the time by the NZ MSM just because the person is an NZer. This is particularly true when the subject is a buster pedo ring, since everyone wants those bastards exposed, don’t they. Add all of that to the internal affairs angle and you have a major repeat major story but gee, it didn’t happen did it.

Like I said, I bet the MSM would have been crawling all over it if the protagonists had been a hetero couple, in fact, I guarantee they would have, they always have in the past. So why didn’t they in this case? Go figure.

The Federal police ‘interveiwed’ those gays when they came back into Australia several months back. The gays then went to the ABC and complained that hetro couples would not be treated like that. The ABC and the MSM then went on and on and on in support of their ‘poor treatment’.

Since news of what those gays were really doing with that child has gotten out to the public, the ABC website now says ‘cannot find search request’.
All previous reports and supporting views by the ABC has been removed from their website. Yet all other ‘positive’ gay type reports remain!

Typical. They never remove ‘negative’ hetro or anglo reports.

Gays & blacks ect always have to be portrayed in a good light by the MSM. It’s THEIR rules u’know! 😎

I gave a link recently to a book by a South African lady called ‘Into the Cannibal’s Pot’ which talks about how the MSM ignores the atrocities being committed by the blacks in South Africa today and warns that this sickly white liberal’s disease is going to be something the rest of the WASP world pays for if we don’t do something about it. She’s right. Imagine what will happen in the States, with all those millions of well armed poor blacks in urban neighbourhoods. But discussing such things is weally weally wacist, according to the sickly white liberals.

I think it’s time we told these little pricks to f off because their guilt is getting dangerous for the rest of us. But this won’t ever happen in our society because most of it is made of frogs who don’t seem to mind the fact the water is getting hotter in fact some of them are so fucking stupid they even argue that such isn’t the case and pointing out such things as you and I just have is just inflammatory and entirely unnecessary.

Many of us think the lies and misrepresentations of the media are the most damaging. I consider that the things they do not report on create the biggest lies. The downfall of South Africa is a classic one, as it races to catch up with the rest of black Africa as worst place on earth, in a race to the bottom. Black African run countries feature as a weeping sore on the face of humanity, yet listening to the msm you would think the USA was the worst place on earth. The msm simply refuse to report on the vileness of Africa.

Funny how the concern over Iran being bombed by ~~Israel~~ the US never seems to bother “the markets” isn’t it. That is, until they really do it, then it will.

But a tinpot little pinprick like Egypt and everyone gets weally weally scared.

You remember how oil for decades used to hover around $30 and then a few years ago for no apparent reason at all it suddenly shot up to $150+ and now it’s over $200 and all this without any significant change in either the known reserves or the supply lines so in other words, a 666% price rise FOR NO APPARENT REASON that the entire world just accepts as if this sort of thing happens in the free market every single day.

Of course it does. Nothing to see here. Nothing to conclude about how the world really works, from this example, which happened a few short years ago before the eyes of the entire world and which continues to happen on a daily basis. Nothing to conclude from this, at all. Democracy is alive. Capitalism works properly. The media is honest. War is peace. Freedom is Slavery. Etc.

Exactly.

The MSM is nothing more than progressive evangalicism – preaching piece by piece their ideals to the confused masses.

Take for example any ‘terrible’ issue that is portrayed in the MSM, be it child neglect, youth who take drugs that are now unemployed, inreasing rates of sexual diseases – the media then inform the public that everything will get better – if ‘this’ leftist ideal is made into law[smacking bill will solve child abuse] or practised[tolerance&acceptance by the public will solve gay depression and disease]

It never does. Child abuse is committed in homes that have manifest problems. No one does everything right in life – and then beats up children.

They’ve been preaching this ‘totaly secular’ piece by piece issue solving view for almost 3/4 of a century – and this is as good as it gets?

I’m not saying that people should be religious, but when religion[the major Christian, & Buddist, &Hindu] is prepared to talk on a particular topic, then the MSM should inform people of that view. Why? because those institutions walk the talk, they are in places like Africa, Cancer hospices, aged care, alcohol, drug, streetkids, pregnancy support etc.

“pregnancy support” – the secular state kicks young mums out of hospital within 3 days and any ‘help’ that maybe given is often much later, through being ‘advised’ how ‘best’ to bring your child up Godless, sexless, parentless, eventually spouseless – and all to be trouble free! Bullshit!

I’m not saying either that religion has all the answers, or is the answer, but they do have more valid viewpoints than most others who are reported in the media have – on all topics.
