Memphis Zoo
The Memphis Zoo was ranked No 1 zoo in America in 2008, so decided to give it a visit. Definitely worth visiting, if you are into zoos. Good variety of animals, and most (not all) in fairly spacious surroundings.
An armadillo. Not seen one before.

In the aviary some of the birds are not caged off, so they are literally flying around you, and will even land on you.
They had up posters of drawings from local school kids. Is that not an awesome drawing for someone at school?
Two black bears. very playful.
A gray wolf. Their species almost became extinct.

Some Amish visitors. Well I think they were Amish, but they also spoke in a non-English tongue.
