Manolo, yeah easy. One thing the resident soldiers of Christ forget is that the Muslims accept Jesus as a prophet and the Jews do not. Therefore Muslims accept Christianity and Jews reject it fundamentally. The religious ignorance of some comments is really rather confronting.

If what it says is true, then it’s not good news for us, as well as for the US audience being addressed in it.

What gets me is, the US is no longer the titan it once was, and it will never be a titan again. Instead it will either have another 911 and use it as an excuse to declare martial law and/or it will start a global war alongside Israhell and the UK, which it won’t win. The least likely is that its economy will gradually slip away, year after year falling behind China, Japan, the EU, then Russia, etc. Which of those things will happen isn’t certain but one of them will.

So tell me, why are we trading away our national sovereignty for a treaty with a has-been nation in terminal decline? Is that standing in the future looking forward, as healthy people and nations do, or is that wilful ignorance of the present, in favour of a misty-eyed hallucination of yesteryear?

Interesting day. Interesting to see that many just prefer to trust politicans than actually scrutinize the details of legislation.

I have said before that surveillance is necessary and I have also said that it should not be carte blanch open ended with no supervision nor contriols, nor oversight.
Apparently KS and his brown nosing compatriats are quite comfortable with taking Key’s word that he will do as he says.
He may, until presure is bought to bear by Hollywood moguls or the FBI and then he will bend over and get stuffed as he did last time.

Even more freightening is that while Key may stay staunch, (which I would question), he is not there forever and imagine what could happen if the next encumbent is not Kiwi freindly or has another agenda.

Nothing’s ever what it seems. We need to be clear what is able to be done, by whom and who reports to whom and who Audits all that process with that process open to satisfactory inspection.

Past experience shows that it has not been satisfactory and rambo has been allowed to do as he wished.

Wether Harrison is right or wrong I have no idea as I am far to busy to research all the issues but I am sure of one thing. Plenty of open debate is essential, trusting politicans is dangerous, not only because we can’t always trust their motives but because they have been shown dozens of times in the last few years to produce faulty legislation (and the GCSB Bill was one) and that they cannot be trusted to act in the best interests of Kiwi citizens or as Kiwi’s would wish. ( Smacking Bill anyone).

Are you all satisfied that we have had that debate and we have good legislation or not.

But then I don’t have the same trust in Pollies, and authorities as some of you seem to have.

Not at all – you’re just using the name ‘Israel’ as the sole historical matter regarding Jews and their history.

I’d say they have a right to most of it as the walls of Jerusalem were used as a security defense when the region was invaded in Biblical times. History says that Jews lived outside the walls – not just within it. Israel also has legal rights to any land it won from being invaded in 1949 to defend itself, as the agressors have never signed a peace treaty to indicate that they would not again invade Israel.

In the center of Jerusalem is the sacred structure which the Jews label as the Temple Mount, and the Arabs refer to as the Haram al-Sharif (the noble sanctuary) and Al-Aqsa (the farthest Mosque). A mere 35 acres; yet touch it, and the Ummah [the Islamic homeland] will go to war.

So who has the better claim?

Ignoring the issue of political sovereignty, let us focus solely on which religion has the greater claim to that sacred space.

Most amazing is how Muslims ignore that Mohammed died four years before the forces of Islam even arrived at the gates of Jerusalem in 636 AD. The city would not capitulate until 637 AD. There were no mosques in Jerusalem during Mohammed’s lifetime. So what mosque could Mohammed have even visited during his night journey?

The Muslims ignore all this and rename Jerusalem Al Quds as if it were always Muslim.
In fact, the Arabic name al Quds, is a corruption of the Hebrew Qadosh. Qadosh is Hebrew for holy. Al Quds simply means, “the Holy Place,” but in no way does that holiness derive from Islam. It derives from a corruption of Hebrew.

Finally, there is the insult — not merely to Jews, but to the heritage of the world — that was allowed when the Muslims were permitted to use bulldozers to dig out space for the new Al-Marwani mosque, constructed underneath the Al Aqsa (Southern) Mosque in the Temple area known as Solomon’s Stables. Solomon’s Stables is an archeological treasure which should have been excavated by nothing bigger than a dental pick. The Muslims trucked the debris to a Kidron Valley dump.

Already volunteers, affiliated with Bar Ilan University, sifting through what the Muslims have dumped as trash have discovered artifacts which prove a Jewish priority to the area. This is sacrilege of the first rank, not merely to the Jewish religion, but to secular history — and few in the media have ever mentioned this criminal archeological atrocity which shows the utter contempt Muslims hold for the history of others.

Ironically, incompetent engineering of the excavation has weakened the Southern Wall, and endangers the structural integrity of the southern end of the Temple area, which may result in the destruction of the Muslim structures should a major earthquake strike.

Already, the Muslims have blamed the Jews for this.

Muslim claims are not merely false, but outrageous lies. They are easily refuted by anyone who has common sense.

Whatever the political claims on the city, Islam has absolutely no valid religious claim to the Temple Mount at all. Islamic claims are bald-faced lies, and Muslim academics must surely know this.

For those with an open mind which brings historical accuracy, the following perspectives on WWII are interesting, if somewhat contradictory.

This was part of a strategic plan dating back to the late 19th century which aimed to prevent Germany and Russia from ever coming together to form an alliance, since such would threaten the supremacy of the British Empire. Thus the British created the Bolshevik Revolution, WWI and WWII. It’s a very good thesis, which fits facts very well indeed, and contains plenty of references for those interested in verifying the thesis. I’ve posted it before and my previous condition stands. I’m happy to debate it but I won’t engage with anyone who hasn’t read the whole thing. Sorry about that but just because it goes against accepted history and causes someone cognitive dissonance thereby, is no reason to dismiss it without even knowing what it says.

Second which is the contradictory aspect is this video which I’m only a few hours into, am watching it in instalments, since it’s 5 hours. It gives an alternative view of Hitler by explaining his origins and looking at what he did for the German people and it explains why they loved him so much, which is something that puzzles many. It doesn’t mention much I didn’t already know and like most docos it doesn’t offer evidence but that’s on the web, anyway. But from what I’ve watched so far it does bring a few things out some may not be aware of, such as why Hitler was so against the Jews, why he was able to turn the German people against them and why they mattered in the conflict against Russia. Anyone versed in history already knows these things, but some may not. For that reason alone, it’s worth watching. Same codicil applies, as far as me discussing it with anyone.

Lastly this is a recent book on Russian and Allied atrocities against German civilians during WWII. It’s horrific, both what the Russians did and what the allies did. History is written by the victors it’s true, but if you want not to repeat something, then you need to understand it, and nothing mentioned in here could be excused, by any civilised thinking person. This is a chapter by chapter precis.

Mohamed plagiarised the Old and New Testamnets ,that’s why there are so many Judaic and Christian references in the Koran ,the actual literal word of God.

Muslims do not accept Christianity ,which maintains a Holy Trinity and that part of that Trinity ,Gods Son became Man. If any Muslim proclaimed that in the public square in Mecca they would be jailed and very likely be executed.

The Muslim prayer that God is One is a daily reminder,5 times a day that Christianity is( to them) a heresy.Punishable by death if a Muslim converts.

Hey, Reid.

I admire your intellectual curiosity, however, I think you must not have particularly strong anchor points to help guide you. But then again, maybe they’re just taking you through a convoluted part. Here’s what I think about WWII – both the British and the Americans weren’t angels when it came to their actions. Which just goes to show the world doesn’t want to piss Europeans off that much that we launch into another bloody war, which we quite capable of doing. However, manipulation of that level that is being alluded to is not humanly possible. I would ascribe it to angelic intelligence – not human. And even then it was seriously thwarted.

Judith you just put the link into your post. Sometimes you can’t see the embedded video displayed, but others can. For example, I can see the embedded video as an embedded video in my 6:33 but not as an embedded video in my 6:17. I haven’t worked out why that is but just whack it in, on its own separate line and trust the browser to work it out, is my philosophy. Sometimes refreshing the page helps, sometimes it doesn’t.

No that’s quite right Lucia but you and I know that Satan has always had a hand in things here, don’t we and why wouldn’t he love a conflict in which 60 million souls were killed and do everything he could to encourage and magnify such. Do you know for example the major death camps were along ley lines which together formed a pentagram? I’m simply saying look at those refs bearing in mind feeble weak men with vested interests have written our western history, and there are other equally valid interpretations if you drop the western mindset. After all, what’s the point of making a conclusion until you understand both sides?

Yes, I believe I read the same thing, and after they are married they must immediately apply to adopt as many children as possible before the human race becomes extinct, (because of their nuptials). I don’t really worry to much about their delicate feelings or what they proclaim Reid. The only reason I ever took a side in the debate is that I consider that they are human beings & should have the same rights as the rest of us. Other than that they take their lumps like everyone else.

Indeed the curse of political correctness is one arrow I dodged very successfully. Years ago the cartage firm I worked for did a furniture shift for a couple of queers & amongst the things they were throwing away was a large box of gay magazines in pristine condition. The wife was working part time in an office & had access to a ‘matrix?’ typewriter that could print address labels.

It’s amazing the fun you can have sticking a label on the back of these magazines & leaving them lying around waiting rooms in the town. 🙂

PS Is it {i}space text space {/i} or is the whole thing run together?

Harriet, I did not invent the name Israel, which was a purely fictional place until recently. Thanks for confirming the only reason the Jews got given that land was the bible they wrote. No wonder the Arabs are so annoyed.

By the way… the establishment of Israel has no validity in the Jewish holly books at all. Talking about the Christian bible to justify the invention of mythical Israel is absurd as they reject Jesus and therefore Christianity. Get it through your head that Jews reject Jesus, just like me, Muslims do not. The Jewish religion teaches that Israel will rise only after God is upon the earth and not before. Non Zionist Jews object to the establishment of Israel, as a physical place, on those grounds.

“Torah-true Jews are forbidden to serve in the Israeli army, and there are many good reasons for that,” said Yirmiyahu Cohen, a spokesman for True Torah Jews. “First of all, our great rabbis ruled that it is forbidden to assist the State of Israel in any way, including fighting in its wars. Secondly, the Israeli army is known to be an environment of immorality and negligence of Jewish law, in utter contrast to the high standards of modesty and observance with which the ultra-Orthodox meticulously raise their children.

Issue of draft is another matter. Personally I’m not sure I support the draft for Yeshiva students (or the ‘Ultra Orthodox’)/

Tim, don’t tell me, read the Jewish holly books. Educated and informed Jews agree with me. They do not agree with nationalism. It is all laid out in the teachings. The duty of Jews is to educate the non Jews and spread their ways, but not their religion. Jews do not proselytize. I should start charging you theists for all this 🙂

If by Orthodox you mean Rabbinical, that’s probably true. Rabbinical Jews are descendants of Pharisee Jews, the Pharisees were as spiritually hollow as the state’s version of common law. Judaism as a religion has been in trouble ever since the Babylonian exile and the adoption of monotheism.

Oh right. Can you give me the names of those you know personally, and have discussed it with?

They do not agree with nationalism. It is all laid out in the teachings.

The belief is that the true state of Israel can only be created by the Messiah. However, 99.9% support and vote and believe that the current state of Israel should exist. Many do serve in the army. Actually many Arabs serve in the IDF too.

No idea what you are on about. There are Jews that can trace lineage back to King David, and yes, I know a few.

Even the non-Zionistic Jews come from the same group, so what is your point?

However, I absolutely agree that ever since the destruction of the first Temple, which lead to the Babylonian exile and the writing of the oral law into what we know today as the Talmud, the Jewish people have been in trouble.
