I have no idea what the “Pauline doctrine” is, but I do know that the biggest difference between the two is Islam’s denial of the Incarnation and all the consequences of that. And before Kea comes along to say that the Jews deny the same thing, the first Christians were Jewish.

Lucia Maria, by Pauline doctrine I mean any doctrine that originated with Paul, especially vicarious sacrifice (the Christian and Islamic interpretations of the crucifixion are very different).

If by “the Incarnation” you mean the Catholic doctrine of the second person of the trinity, I’d argue that Pauline doctrine is a more important difference because in Christianity salvation is dependent upon belief in vicarious sacrifice.

Weight is golden. In fact, I put away a fair bit of chocolate caramel slice and was still under target weight. It’s weird to not have the weight gain followed by working ya nads off to get back down. Weird. But good. But weird. But good.

I prayed to god asking if he could by any means possible help remove the weight of the chocolate caramel slice…. and so after I fell asleep it started farting fruitfully out of my backside for eight hours straight. Or maybe that just a dream I had.

Yeah – your shoes look like my whole year’s footwear budget. I keep praying for shoes but nothing happens. I did get a shoe up my arse after that. Close – not *quite* what I had in mind.

SPC 12:36 am I suppose wealth is relative. I’ve got food and shelter, running water, access to emergency medical attention, private transport, electricity. And I’ve even got luxuries like the internet and TV, radio… reading material and music. And a piano if I want to play it. And a relatively safe environment free from total lawlessness. I feel in some way fairly well-off.

I ran a marathon distance in a $9 pair of shoes from K Mart. I’ve still got them but they really are totally shit of course…. so… I should throw them out. I just kept on using my worn out Spalding shoes I got from No1 Shoe Warehouse last year buy two get one free. They’re totally fucked but they’ve reached the point where they can’t get any worse…. sweet!! I just run to avoid the really munted bits with my foot placement.

Tell you what. How about you come up with some actual scholarship before you start with the abuse, Lucia Maria.

This supplementary document discusses the history of trinitarian dotrines. Although early Christian theologians speculated in many ways on the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, no one clearly and fully asserted the doctrine of the Trinity as explained at the top of the main entry until around the end of the so-called Arian Controversy.

The point is that Paul was the cause of the schism between the Christians and the Ebionites, with Islam developing from the Ebionite fork. The disciples in Turkey who were the target audience of the message of the Book of Revelation were of the group who had rejected Paul, they were not Christians.
