Cunliffe calls Collins a trout

November 22nd, 2013 at 3:55 pm by David Farrar

blogs:

A couple of months ago I was asked to write a post for the Ruminator and, rather optimistically, I agreed. The original brief was to respond to a post by Judith Collins. My post was going to be about snapper, not trout. But considering that issue, along with Judith’s leadership aspirations, has floundered, I’ll try another hook.

What is extraordinary is this is a written blog post – not an off the cuff remark.

This is quite correct. If a male National MP had called a female Labour MP a trout, almost every female Labour MP would have done press releases condemning the .

This is not the first time Cunliffe has made an off colour remark about Judith Collins. he previously said:

The controversial radio host asked Cunliffe if he ever contemplated who he would mate with if he was on a plane and everyone else in the world suddenly died.

Cunliffe answered: “Well, I have thought that if Judith Collins was the last woman on Earth, the species would probably become extinct.”

He seems to have a fixation about Judith.

There will be no outcry from the Labour women or anyone on the left. That’s because outrage about sexist language and posturing is not outrage at sexism or whatever, it is manufactured partisanship acting as a specific signal that one cares. Thus those rules only apply if one of their opponents use the slur or the slur is directed at them.

They couldn’t actually give a toss about the slur to someone who so obviously deserves it (in their opinion of course). Outrage is so precious it needs to be hoarded to use as a weapon.

The left is full of sexists, and racists, ironic considering Labour’s explicit gender quotas and implicit racial quotas. Look at Cunliffe, Shane Jones, Willie & JT, etc etc.

When they’re not mocking women, they’re formenting racial disharmony against Asians for outbidding 25yo first home buyers at $1.2m Grey Lynn villas.

The clever thing to do here would be for all the male National MP’s to start calling all the female Liarbore MP’s trouts. Trout this, trout that, non-stop trouting 24/7/365 at every single opportunity.

After all, apparently Liarbore’s own leader finds it acceptable, so how could they possibly complain lest it imply they were criticising their own leader?

I imagine Liarbore’s caucus sessions might become a tad testy when all the trouts complain about it and wouldn’t that be a shame.

The post isn’t about free speech or even what Cunliffe said. it is about the hypocrisy of the left ( including the MSM in this ), that they are allowed to say stuff like this and nobody bats an eyelid (maybe they just expect it). But, as DPF said, if it was the other way round (a male National MP saying something similar about a female Labour MP ), then Campbell Live, the rest of the Green party and the Labour Party would be marching in the streets demanding that John Key kick them out of parliament.

edit:And I see NK said it far more concisely than I did.

Which of course he did here since the written word reveals far more about the witty repartee taking place in someone’s own head than their mouth does. You normally don’t get to hear about the former so much because that micro-pause while your finger moves to the Send button tends to self-censor lots and lots of thoughts, doesn’t it. But apparently not, in Cunliffe’s case. Perhaps he was thinking of those 800,000 Liarbore voters who stayed at home, thinking that they’re his guarantee to victory, since of course, every single one of them would just love to vote for him Liarbore, if only he can lure them from their lairs with the odd comment here and there.

    15. Trout

A trout is essentially a slut. She would be one of those girls that if any guy actually slept with her they would be likely to contract a STD. They are raunchy females. Any partner that they have will deny the actions they partake in. This word is used as an insult in the town of Ladysmith B.C. Trout is what one would call someone who has been around the block too many times.

Cunliffe has talked up his pig-hunting experiences in the South Island and thus should know of the method that poachers, leaning over a river bank, often used for catching trout:

Trout tickling is the art of rubbing the underbelly of a trout using fingers. If done properly, the trout will go into a trance-like state after a minute or so, and can then easily be thrown onto the nearest bit of dry land. – Wikipedia.

    Isn’t that a famous misquote?

A spokeswoman for Clark has confirmed the she will not be attending a dawn service, but would attend several other Anzac Day events.

“She hasn’t done a dawn service for years. She did one in Gallipoli in 2005, but she doesn’t do dawn services for Maori events either,” she said.

Returned and Services Association (RSA) president John Campbell says he would prefer Clark to attend a dawn service.

“I think it would be fair to say the RSA would like to see the Prime Minister at a dawn service,” Campbell says.

“But we wouldn’t say she doesn’t show proper respect to veterans. She certainly does.”

I confess that the description of Collins as a “trout” had me puzzled. So I checked with the Urban Dictionary.
    Cun*liffe is an arsehole:

    1. Trout

Trout = 40 something male hanging out in clubs looking for younger females to prey on. (male Cougar)

He is such a Trout! He is to old to be in a club!

cougar 40 something male old men

    2. Trout
A man who likes to date younger women (i.e. he swims downstream in age); Antonym = salmon (a guy who likes to date older women, or swims upstream in age). Synonym = male cougar

Bill’s such a trout; everytime he enters the club he’s got a younger chick on his arm…

salmon cougar pimp sugar daddy player

    3. Trout

Something you got slapped with in IRC

    4. Trout

    NOUN:

A whore that has fucked so many people, she starts to smell like a fish (thus the insult trout).

Often told to close her legs.

“hey trout! close your legs! we can smell you from over here!”

    5. Trout

rapidly flapping ones hand between the legs and or arms of another man, hitting the inside of their groin, similar to a trout fin. Developed in the cities of Brentwood and Franklin, Tennessee.

Ryker just got trouted by Edward in math class! lets all laugh at him!

    6. Trout

    1.Fresh water fish
2.An immoral woman, masked in cheap perfume usually scantly clad. Aged between 13 -18, a trout often walks the streets in search of her victim to whore herself upon. Usually dressed with nothing more than a belt for a skirt and a local market bought top with a cheap motif such as “von bitch” or “princess”. These girls, normally offspring of generations of trout’s have more than two unwanted children each (by different fathers of course) and seem to parade their children around as if a new fake gold necklace bought for £ 5 at the local market.

Cuniffe (Tojo): Come clean on your agenda to disestablish the RSA movement . . . you have made this clear in past references within your closer circle of losers.

Andronicus -“I don’t blame Cunliffe. Collins is the nastiest Nat since Muldoon.”

So all the lefts rhetoric around sexism doesnt apply when the target is a National politician. Ok, got ya – a variation on the “its all right when the left does it”. I keep forgetting – “four legs good, two legs better”.

igm – “I personally, would have preferred to sacrifice allied lives in preference to dropping the bombs”.”

This appears to be a common belief of the left. It is more than just Cunliffe who believes that the Allies should have lost 500,000 plus on an invasion of Japan instead of using the new technology they had just developed. I think, as far as the left is concerned, most of the loses would have been Americans so what was the problem.

I think there was no sensible option but to drop the first bomb. it may have been possible to force a surrender without the second one. They could have bullshitted them that the next one was much bigger and it would wipe out Toyko along with the Emperor’s Palace. i could be totally wrong and maybe all this had been thought of and tried.

If push came to shove I would rather the West nuked North Korea on Iran before they developed a very serious and credible threat.

However, Cunliffe’s view on allied lives is yet another reason why he should never be PM.

He seems much like Rudd. His caucus did not want him. Roberson will be chatting plenty with all the militate feminist female Labour MPs. I guess that means all of them.

OneTrack: This goon Cunliffe not only would have committed these men to death, he had the gall to attend a university funded by the survivors in later years. Coming from a background of conscientious objection, it clarifies how disgusting this piece of human refuse really is.
