Nah, why would I bother, you probably havn’t got two halfpennies to rub together anyway, it would be like trying to get blood out of a stone.
But hey, you can sue me for calling you a liar,want to have a go?
But first I would want to see the colour of your money so that I would know you could afford to pay up when you lost.

Did you see the piece in my 11.57, which was what I was originally trying to discuss before this thread got hijacked by the lynch mob and turned into a Bain thread? I thought it was excellent and shows another case that our justice system has failed.

Hey guys a good read this whole thread.

I have an opinion and it goes like this.

I believe beyond any doubt the Bain murders were not carried out by Robyn Bain,dead men can’t defend themselves and the evidence doesn’t stand scrutiny. .
I believe that David Bain had access,motive the ability to carry out the crime and has been unfairly excused from doing his sentence.

Just my opinion.

A subtle change is occurring in the use of the full stop, at least in the USA, according to an article in New Republic. It says, when texting, when you want to send a favourable message, you leave the full stop out. If you are even a little peeved, you put it in.

Remember Philip Ure who, as Philu (or Phool) peppered Kiwiblog for years with torrents of posts, each swimming in full stops? Perhaps Ure was extremely angry as well as nutty.

Auckland Airport has so much money left over it is going to gift back to its shareholders $454 million dollars of which ACC get $102 million.
all very nice except for a number of issues.

First and most obvious is that gifting this to ACC will mean its wasted of course on frivolous nothings.

Second must be that this is money the business generated from its long suffering customers, but no even them but from its travelers, who clearly have been required to pay via charges more than the cost of the services that were fairly supplied. A reason no doubt for the Commerce Commission to have a good look at their pricing.

Ask any user what it costs to park their car or what it costs to go from town to the airport. Now that’s a constant beef.

Perhaps the strategic Sir Henry might like to cancel this distribution and use the money for the betterment of his customers.

Here’s a suggestion for them.

Uncle Len brown has been on about PPP’s and using private capital to fund Auckland amenities. and things.

Well Uncle Len and Sir Henry, should get their heads together and solve the problem of commuting form Town to the Airport.
Uncle Len and Sir Henry could form a PPP to fund and run a rail link from town to the Airport.
That would benefit the Airport and the customers of the Airport and would relieve the rates burden for Uncle Lens rate payers(not the he cares to much about them).
It would also relieve the taxpayer of having to fund Auckland infrastructure.

Seems someone in Govt. just might need to say no to funding this rail if they don’t do it.

And how would Uncle Len fund it? By raping his “customers” even more than now, no doubt.

There are already regular buses to the airport from the city to the airport. Why is a cripplingly expensive train needed, and who would ride it that dont already take the bus?
