V2…..How about.. “Methane production from the Green/Labour Aotearoan governments ban on fossil fuels and the reversion to horse and ox drawn conveyance combined with the strict regulations of every meal consumed by Aotearoans having to comprise beans and not meat. Has pushed Aotearoa (formally New Zealand) into the top bracket of the worst greenhouse gas emitters on Gaia” ! 🙂

Distinction between Guts and Balls
To those of you who are nit-pickers about the meaning of words:
There is a medical distinction between Guts and Balls. We’ve all
Heard about people having Guts or Balls, but do you really know
The difference between them?
In an effort to keep you informed, here are the definitions:

GUTS – is arriving home late, after a night out with the guys, being
Met by your wife with a broom, and having the Guts to ask, Are
You still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?

BALLS – is coming home late after a night out with the guys,

Smelling of perfume and beer, with lipstick on your collar, and
Slapping your wife on the arse and having the Balls to say,
You’re next, Chubby.
I hope this clears up any confusion on the definitions.
Medically speaking, there is no difference in the outcome.
Both result in instant death.

One of the worst moves New Zealand Police ever made!
My mates who are cops absolutely detest having to write traffic tickets (Is it true that even the CIB have quotas these days?)
Fancy joining the Police to investigate crime then being forced to become some kind of ‘revenue gathering’ robot hiding behind a bush with a speed camera..
The old MOT guys used to love that by all accounts- why the hell did they ever change?

Used to be fun playing tag with the MOT black and whites. The Blonde Bitch of Lower Hutt was a bit of a worry though.

Though she looked the part she took all the fun out the word screw! 🙂

There’s an old belt driven chaff cutter in one of my sheds JB. It came with the place & must be near a museum piece.

With the coming demand for horse feed it might be worth dusting off. 🙂

A down vote for not being happy about getting tickets, bad luck.

To be fair, I got an official warning for doing 55 kms going up China Mans Hill on Saturday morning, but I’d prefer the young copper to have been tidying up the drunks asleep in Queen Street and to tone down the beggars, they are getting quite aggressive and do scare people.

Perhaps you should get your old threshing machine out of storage as well?

I knew a farmer, I knew him well,
he had a daughter, her name was Nell
Although she was only sweet sixteen,
I decided to show her my threshing machine.

The barn door was open, so in we did go,
into the corn to have a good go.
She worked the throttle and I worked the steam,
as I showed her the works of my threshing machine.

Six months later all was not well,
something was wrong with our little Nell.
And under her apron could clearly be seen,
the works of my dirty old threshing machine.

Three months later all was not well,
a baby boy was born to our Nell.
And under his nappy could clearly be seen,
a brand new two cylinder threshing machine. 🙂

Bloody hard to gauge 5 kms when going up a hill in a junior sheep shagger anyhow.

No, the merger was awful. The MOT guys were happy doing their thing and had a skill set, the police were the same. Unfortunately traffic safety has turned into this enormous cash flow for the government, absolutely colossal .
Too late now and I’m long gone and you can’t turn back the clock

From what I can remember a lot of the ‘Traffic Officers’ were ex Army & Navy servicemen. They had the uncompromising, nit picking attitude to everything synonymous with the Transport Dept.

Yes nasska. Since that avenue of employment has closed to them they all get jobs at the councils/civil defence/building inspection companies etc.

Anything with a badge and a clipboard and a chance to give orders suits all those old retired warriors! 🙂

Thank Christ we haven’t had a war for generations, imagine that bunch going over the top! 🙂

Nice little television ad for CHORUS – rural and sorta hokey – with just a subtle little mention that the ultra fast broadband roll out will eventually bring about a $33 billion benefit to the country.
Is this so that when the fertilizer hits the domestic air dispersal device, $400 million will seems like peanuts.

And why has CHORUS in several suburbs done the most remote ends first, working back towards the city centre, so the whole thing doesn’t work until the last part nearest the hub is completed. Was that smart or not?

And why, at present, does normal broadband on Telecom cost $10 more a month if you are outside the Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch centres?
