Merry Christmas to all you Kiwiblog Latin Christmasers
Hate to be a grinch but that must be the most irritating “Christmas song” of all time or is it “I hear those sleigh bells jingling, jing jing jingling along”, its a hard fought contest between those two for the title.
They follow me around where ever I go, you cannot buy a litre of milk in the supermarket let along negotiate the aisles of the warehouse without your ears being assaulted by those ditties and their only slightly less irritating brethren
which once heard get stuck in your brain until replaced by something equally annoying
Thank goodness for St Stephens day, boxing day, the 26th of December, when these things will be put away to gather dust again until the day after halloween when they will re emerge to try us all
And a very Merry Christmas, Happy Solstice, Satisfying Saturnalia … Whatever and however you celebrate this time of year, I hope it is a great time for all of you. I also hope that 2014 is better than 2013.
And I think there are two types of people in this world: aside from those who divide people into two types of people and those who don’t, there are also those who LOVE Snoopy and the Red Baron (of which I am NOT one), and those to whom that “song” is like fingernails dragged across an old-fashioned blackboard (and Andrei and I ARE two of those). So thanks for posting it, but I was very careful not to hit “Play”.
Merry Christmas to all those service station attendants working through Christmas/New Year on minimum wages trying to get enough to pay their rates which will be going towards paying a lot of left-wing lazy deadbeat council employees wages a lot higher than theirs. This should be nipped in the bud now by Government, and PSA deregistered.
