Clark moves to Kensington Swan

Kensington Swan have announced:

Lawyer, public policy expert, and political commentator Linda Clark is joining the Kensington Swan's Public Law team as a Special Counsel.

“I am a public affairs junkie and am looking forward to helping solve clients' problems through a range of public law, strategic communications and dispute resolution tools” she said.

Chief Executive Alastair Carruthers said, “Linda's combination of political, strategic and legal experience is unique and her networks in Wellington and across NZ are extensive. She has an extraordinary range of skills and her appointment strengthens our ability to find practical and rigorous solutions to any client problem.”

Partner Hayden Wilson added “In Public Law, you often need more than either legal or public or government relations skills to get results. Linda has them all.”

Prior to becoming a lawyer Linda held some of the most prestigious positions in New Zealand journalism.  She was TVNZ's Political Editor throughout the 1990s, and later was host of New Zealand National's programme. As a political reporter Linda covered five elections. Since 2006 she has been a sought after political commentator and election night panellist while studying and now practising law.

That's a real coup for Kensington Swan. Linda's one of the sharpest people I know.
