If Key attempts to move Judith Collins on that will piss a lot of National party members off and cracks will appear inside the machine.

    It wont happen.

As do the majority of respondents to both the relevant Herald and Stuff polls and the users of iPredict.
Personally, if I were a National supporter, I’d want her gone too.

Poor Mr Key … he is certainly scraping the bottom of the barrel with Ms Wagner !

At least he didnt let her near Building and Construction … which is a consolation.

If there is a faction still supporting Collins then they are as looney as those who support winston. Shes as tainted as him and his big No sign now

What a lot of misogynistic comments. Shame. Nicky is a highly competent woman who worked to win Christchurch central with not a lot of help from the boys. Well done and bloody well deserved.

Goldsmith was probably more deserving, but Key doesn’t want to do anything to jeopardise ACT’s chances.

Statistics are indeed quite important in government. Not sure what the Minister of Statistics has to do though. Probably gets to attend OECD meetings in Paris to discuss statistics.

We have too many ministers in this country. Every government is only ever made up of about 6 competent men or women, The rest are makeweights.

Tamahere was a great Minister of Stats, Wagner may yet eclipse him.

Im so pleased that Smith is reunited with the portfolio that made his reputation and gave us a legacy of billions in buildings that need to be rebuilt without all the trauma of a nationwide earthquake.

Good to see Nicky get this opportunity. She will have a tough battle to hold Chch Central in September given the psychological state of so many beleaguered voters in the electorate. However, Labour has put up a little known member of its rainbow brigade and there will be many who will feel that they had enough with the self-serving antics of former Chch Central gay MP Tim Barnett.

Good on you Nicky. You’ve been a great MP for Chch Central.
