Now Pam Corkery has joined this unsavoury crew can we expect Jim Anderton to come out of retirement? Who else is waiting in the wings?
Creepy, greedy and unscrupulous. Sue Bradford is the only one who has come out of this with any dignity.
Love the Left desperately blaming it all on Judith Collins!
As I recall, these harridans hate Jim’s guts in which case, no room at the Dotcrim trough there.
BRIAN: Are you the Judean People’s Front?
REG: Fuck off!
REG: Judean People’s Front. We’re the People’s Front of Judea! Judean People’s Front. Cawk.
BRIAN: Can I… join your group?
REG: No. Piss off.
BRIAN: I didn’t want to sell this stuff. It’s only a job. I hate the Romans as much as anybody.
PEOPLE’S FRONT OF JUDEA: Shhhh. Shhhh. Shhh. Shh. Shhhh.
JUDITH: Are you sure?
BRIAN: Oh, dead sure. I hate the Romans already.
REG: Listen. If you really wanted to join the P.F.J., you’d have to really hate the Romans.
BRIAN: I do!
REG: Oh, yeah? How much?
BRIAN: A lot!
REG: Right. You’re in. Listen. The only people we hate more than the Romans are the fucking Judean People’s Front.
FRANCIS: And the Judean Popular People’s Front.
P.F.J.: Yeah. Oh, yeah. Splitters. Splitters…
LORETTA: And the People’s Front of Judea.
P.F.J.:Yeah. Splitters. Splitters…
LORETTA: The People’s Front of Judea. Splitters.
REG: We’re the People’s Front of Judea!
LORETTA: Oh. I thought we were the Popular Front.
REG: People’s Front! C-huh.
FRANCIS: Whatever happened to the Popular Front, Reg?
REG: He’s over there.

Corkery dates back to the 90s, politically. So does Harre. Minto first became a national figure in 1981. Harawira is almost 60. These guys are supposed to attract the youth vote. But that assumes what youth actually want is a retro-party harking back to the 80s and 90s, and run by their grandparents.
Most youth have grown up in a multi-cultural country and have Asian classmates and friends. I just can’t imagine they’re going to sign up for the anti-Asian scapegoating that the parties of the left are all engaged in. That might attract the NZ First and Green demographics, but anyone who actually understands the internet is living in a multi-cultural globalised world. I can’t see how they’re going to vote for a Maori nationalist party, even if they pay lip service to internet issues.
I suspect that Hipkins is as dismayed at the unprincipled sale of list positions as the rest of us. But Labour can’t be happy that AGAIN, Dotcom is sucking all the oxygen from the left. We’re three months from an election and Cunliffe is being squeezed out of the media by the circus surrounding Dotcom.
@ William Blake,
You’re obviously lost, so let me help.
The Matt McCarten Home for Humourless Leftwingers is around the back of the WINZ Office, right next to the N Korean Embassy and the Greenpeace Building. You can’t miss it – the bloke on the door has a t-shirt that says Gimme, Gimme, Gimme and he snarls a lot.
