As you know Red – if I get a job – someone else doesn’t. And everyone pays their benefit instead. So does it matter who it is when unemployment is what percentage ? Even if it was 3% – shit that’s a lot. It’s not going to make any difference to anyone or anything – big picture.

Fucking boring re-posting that time after time for you Red – fuck your worse than my Winz parole officers. You care more about it than they do – hahaha – that’s for sure. They’re more ‘real world’. LN – honestly ? Got class 2-5 and an accounting degree. The jobs I can do I just want to kill myself and take others with me. I used to think to myself how easy it would be to drive a full standing load off the side of a hill at Onslow Rd. Poof !! 50 dead.

I’m fairly confident (99.99999999%) I wouldn’t do anything like that. Especially not with my awesome renaissance of mind and body.

Until this country is brave enough to recognise that leaving children with their biological parent/s may not always be the best choice – we’re going to keep seeing this sort of thing happen.

(I am not proposing that the children should NEVER see their parents, but just that their parent’s should only partial role, until such time as the young offenders learn that their parents ways, aren’t the right way or only way).

That is a real plan JB.

It means LRC stops lying to himself and goes out and looks for work so that he is not stealing off other people who have more guts then to lie to themselves like he does.

That then means we don’t need unemployment benefits.

Men and women commit to marriage and make their children the most important thing. Then we don’t have legions of unwed mothers and we don’t need the single parent’s benefit. Nor do we have psychotic children who grow to be criminals like the ones that concern so many on this thread. Think how that would improve our well being and prosperity.

That’s just two examples of being true to one’s self. Both of them would not only improve us spiritually but would also see the massive burden of the welfare state shrink greatlly in size. And the Corrections dept too would shrink. The cost of crime to this country is immense.

What it can be nutshelled as is that NZers depend upon themselves to put things right rather than the state and all off the bludgers and losers (Milky for example) who parasite off that entity.

So those two simple examples would see NZ improve both spiritually and economically. There are many more like that. See if you can think of one.

Not a fan of no fault divorce myself. If one knew that bad behaviour might penalise one financially, deviating from the 50/50 split, it may as in the past have a modifying effect.

Mind you I am not a fan of 50/50 anyway. For that reason the first 2/3 years of my relationships are a ‘test’ and hard work 😉 lol. The honey moon can start after the probation period.

I never could understand why gays wanted to be subject to the same property rules as heterosexuals. Especially as the odds of having to split ones assets is way more likely than not!!!

The state of course likes the redistribution of capital, often from those with to those without.

I think the real issue is – it’s one thing to be vermin scum – it’s quite another to show one’s self on websites and stink up the place with one’s foul feral stench and unearned right to express opinions or do anything other than sit in a corner shrinking in shame at the unbearable nature of one’s hateful self-inflicted predicament.

Imagine how much better off this country would be if everyone like me was still trying to get a job as a train driver with hundreds of other hopefuls – where the advice to unsuccessful applicants is to do wordfinder puzzles every day to ‘upskill’ enroute to their next eligible attempt. People that have actually driven trains in Australia can’t even get a job as a train driver in NZ – yes – this is a country that makes a lot of sense – it’s just that the peasants need to get with the programme.

A past commenter on these threads, “grumpyoldhori”, was pushed occasionally on what he would do to stem the tide of young Maori following their parents into a life of crime. Not surprisingly he was of the same view as David Garrett in that getting in early was the key to success.

His solution was along the line of boarding schools where the kids were taught & mentored by people with a bit of mana who could lead the little buggers in the right direction. They would still spend holidays with their families.

Expensive certainly, but I reckon he was on the right track.

Give it a go LR&C….so long as you’re not afraid of early starts & you’re aware that the art of dairying involves turning mud into milk you’ll do okay. You’ve picked the right time as the flush will kick off in the next month or two & there’s plenty of work coming up.

Most cow cockies don’t require experience…..just reliability & a willingness to learn.

Not boarding schools as such – too much idle time.

But perhaps farms with schools attached, and a hierarchy system. Effort gets reward. Work them from sun up to sunset (idle hands and minds create mischief) but don’t forget to reward when they get it right – show them working hard and being good is the best way, and will achieve results.

Show them how to have fun – in a way that doesn’t involve theft, drugs, violence etc.

Basically go back to the beginning and start just after the potty training stage (although some could even do with lessons in that).

The biggest problem wouldn’t be the cost – it would be those that think keeping the family together is best for everyone. A tried and failed method that no one will admit doesn’t often work.

I actually spent over three years (3rd form to expulsion) at a boarding school & there wasn’t much spare time allocated to get into serious trouble. The academic, cultural, sporting & if you are unfortunate religious crap, takes up most of the day & half the night.

Cost is a big factor but useless social workers, police resources & youth “experts” yapping endlessly while getting nowhere don’t come cheap either.

Yeah – well – it’s something to think about. I don’t know what happened to me but I can watch an entire farming programme on TV without falling asleep more than twice now.

No – seriously – like everything else that requires knowledge and skill I look right up to the farmers. Naz – do you know the people I saw on TV ? They were from Wairarapa – top farmers breeding something with four legs – sheep probably – and they were shown wondering what they’d get at auction – if they’d get the top price – it was $900 or something they were hoping for and they fell just short in the high 800s ? But they got the best price out of all the farmers ? Or had the best sheep award ? Any of this ringing anything for ya ? They keep on winning each year anyway – father and son.

‘flush’ you farmers and your lingo – I’m a fucking townie – what are you talkin bout Willis ??

If they were getting that sort of money for sheep they must have been running a stud breeding unit. That is a game on its own, suited mainly to succession farmers as it takes so long to breed the traits you’re after into a flock.

By “flush” I meant that most (but not all) dairy farmers plan to have their herds calve & therefore start producing milk when the best grass growth is coming up. All grass is not the same…..spring growth has more protein than summer/autumn…..about 20% vs 10% but don’t read too much into that…..it’s far more complicated. “Town supply” farms used to get a premium for their milk because they were contracted to supply year round but I think that’s gone by the board.

I’ve never worked in dairy but there’s no shortage of info on the Net

Well let’s look at that then :

That’s over 30 yrs – which is 100,000,000 atomic bombs going off each year – 2,000,000 a fucken week – 300,000 atomic bombs a fucken day – every fucken day for the last 30 yrs!

Well of course the temprature would increase by 0.00000021 degrees with that happening. 😎

Students at a local school were assigned to read 2 books, ‘Titanic’ and ‘My Life’ by Bill Clinton.

One student turned in the following book report, with the proposition that they were nearly identical stories!

His cool professor gave him an A+ for this report.

Clinton : Let’s not go there.

Titanic: Rose gets to keep her jewellery.
Clinton : Monica is forced to return her gifts..

In another life I was a member of our local Labour LEC and finished up in a reasonably high position. I became tired of the underhand dealings and back stabbing by very jealous members who did not like others getting a perceived better deal than them.

Anyhow I still keep in touch with a few good friends who hang in for the good old days of Micky Savage. The real one not the has been ambulance chaser. Word is that Phil Goff fancies his chances for the leadership after a few recent appearances on the Mike Hosking Wednesday slot with Steven Joyce. Moonbeam king has been away during the last few weeks and Goff was standing in.

I hear he is again taking lessons on how to walk with a swagger and has become quite vocal about Labour issues. He is one of a number in the Labour caucus who detest Cunliffe and hate his guts.

There are deep rumblings in the labour camp whose internal polls show they are in deep shit.
