Joyce rated more valuable than Cunliffe

June 9th, 2014 at 4:00 pm by David Farrar

The Wellington Chamber of Commerce has two events on the 18th of June.

They have a breakfast with for $45.

Then a lunch with for $55.

Now they price these events based on what they think people will pay (Hence why lunch with PM with Trans-Tasman Council was $500 or so, and $85 at the Chamber).

This shows that Steven Joyce is rated more valuable than David Cunliffe!

Waffles ? no that would be waffles and syrup for breakfast with Cunners.

Lunch with Joycey would be a lot more substantial (and convivial)

Surely we need a detailed comparison of the lunch menu versus the breakfast menu before we can reach any conclusion on this matter.

Cunliffe’s value in the morning, here in Christchurch .

He has has made a complete clown of himself in Christchurch today .

    1. He thinks he can jack up the entire land mass of the Flockton base, and remediate that land. As well as that pump up houses that are fucked , if not all not all Christchurch.,
    2. Gerry Brownlee doesn’t know whether to cry or laugh.
    3. He Cunliffe wants to set up and endless trial by Judge of Earthquake claims , send money here NZ. Pay here.
4.. Greg Presland and Mat McCartney are emotional morons, both
    5. Labour should take 25% of the vote, but I wouldn’t be too sure.
    6. Cunliffe will leave New Zealand after the elections, his pathological ego unintact

I wouldn’t be interested in lunching with Cunliffe or Joyce who just waffles on and on about nothing. He’s a classic PR man – all words and no substance. Key might be of interest though because then I could personally tell him what I think about his poor performance on policies that matter – like racial equality under the law for instance and how imperative it is we have binding referenda. I’m sure he either doesn’t receive letters I’ve written to him – or he just ignores them. So, a chance to speak in person would be ideal.

Surely you need more comparisons. Wouldn’t people be more willing to spend more for a lunch than a breakfast, assuming the same speaker?

Who in their right mind would pay $45 to be lectured to and smarmed at by Cunliffe? And then to only get half-baked thoughts freshly pulled from his arse that he calls “policy”.

Yeah it costs you $55 for lunch with joyce and you get paid $45 to sit close to Cun*liffe for an hour with free food.

I am sure there will be some hard up students that need the $45 that badly.

What does ‘chips on their shoulder’ have in relation to racial equality under the law, seanmaitland? You don’t mind that our country is now practising apartheid? Privilege based on race is apartheid. You are right though, John Key would certainly tell me to p… off!! He’s gradually destroying this once wonderful country with his policies and certainly wouldn’t want to hear the truth while he is appeasing Parties with agendas, just so he can stay in power. Shonkey is what I call him.

As much I’d love that to be the caseknowing the prices that are charged by hotels for these types of events it’s all down to lunches being more expensive for a hotel to put on so they charge more. Nothing to get excited about at all.

You would be very wrong, Adolph. There are many people in this country who are totally fed up with racial privilege. I personally don’t know anyone who isn’t and I certainly know a lot of people with the various activities I pursue. You just have to read political debating Forums to know how unhappy people are with the current state of this country. Referenda voting down racial Wards and Boards receive a huge percentage etc. The subject comes up at social gatherings everywhere every time. If you don’t have that special racial blood, Adolph, (even a drop entitles you!!) you are now a second class citizen in this country.

It’s a generalisation usually chucked around to condemn a Labour or Green MP. If they do something disagreeable (like say something or breathe) they are “scumbag, list troughers who didn’t get voted in.” Those and other terms of endearment related to the fact they got into Parliament via the list are heaped on them.

If one list MP is condemned simply by dint of being a list MP, they all deserve the accolade. Including Steven Joyce. There is nothing which makes him exceptional.
