Monday Motivator – Murawai Dream

June 16th, 2014 at 11:29 am by Richard Hume

Monday Motivator 25
Murawai Dream, Murawai Beach, New Zealand

Heading out to Murawai I had quite a different idea in my mind for the type of photograph I was going to take. However after shooting a few options which were a little average I started to notice the amazing cloud formations and the amazing light the setting sun was having on them.

I quickly relocated to a vantage point high on the cliffs and  set to work capturing this image which I love.

Cheers

How much processing did you do on this photo? Or this exactly how the camera captured it?

Alpenglau – it takes an unusual convergence of events to see it, but when you do, it’s breathtaking. Love the shot. Another good option for a wall :)

I’m not trying to be a pillick, and I may be wrong, but if you’re going to publish this, check the spelling as I think it might be Muriwai.

Bring Back Todd Sisson. A pretty sunset does not a good picture make; let alone a “fine art” one. This is the kind of thing newby’s believe. Don’t give up your day job.

Hi Ross 411….for this pic there was practically no post processing….this is almost as the camera captured it.

What post processing did it require? I assume that most photographs professional photographers take these days are practically photoshopped away from being a realistic portrayal of what the camera observed, so it’s interesting to hear these things.
