Winston Peters ‘Two Wongs Don’t Make A Right!’ (White? Whyte?)
Three things need to happen here:
1: The media, in particular Tova O’Brien and Guyon Espiner, need to stop trying to be the new clergy. WTF do they think they are doing, making a big deal of it? That’s what he wants!
2: Dame Susan Devoy needs to condemn the remark, then resign along with the entire commission due to being utterly pointless, an unnecessary cost to the taxpayer and ineffectual.
3: Colin Craig needs to call Winston a racist old fool, and use it to differentiate himself and his party from NZ First.
The opposition to remarks like ‘two wongs’, is not PC gone mad, it’s probably opposition to lame old 20th century post war boorishness. Who makes jokes like that anymore? You’ve got to be a little bit more clever with your casual racism these days.
They are in shock because the government SUGGESTS migrants should learn English to better integrate into New Zealand society…. No forcing, no language requirements to gain entry to the country, just shock that the government might suggest you learn the language of the host nation so that the immigrant might be able to be more successful in the country.
It really puts pay to the Labour-National party line that we only let in those of “high quality” who have the skills we desperately need.
If you keep voting for the 2 different versions of the Labour-National party, keep watching their progressive philosophy ratchet up year, by year until the train reaches it’s final destination.
“Have any of my somewhat unsatisfactory roster of New Hampshire Senate candidates said anything about their constituents’ bagpipe seizure? America has a two-party system in which one party is committed to making things worse and the other party isn’t committed to making things any better.
Sounds a bit like New Zealand doesn’t it?
The truth is this is how liberty dies, with a thousand cuts, day after day after day. Bill Clinton famously said, “The age of Big Government is over”. And in a sense he’s right: This is an age of small, itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny government, in which nothing is too inconsequential (i.e. infinitesimaly small blood/alcohol levels) and trivial (i.e. paddling pools or plain packaging)not to command the attention of the government enforcers – until, cumulatively, all the itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny government adds up to the biggest government ever seen.
I see that Christchurch is spawning a huge new Wealth sect of people.
Luxury cars have been booming for the last year and a half ,and new sales figures have shown that is still booming even more.
Look at up to $50,000,000,000 that has and is being poured into Christchurch, by Insurance Companies and the Government (yes – Taxpayers throughout the country have allowed money to be poured in on our behalf like Topsy) – and you wonder why the nouveau riche are appearing.
The more and more I look at Islamic demographics I struggle to see how a massive conflict between Islam and the Judeo-Christian can be avoided as the two belief systems (especially the fundamentalist wahaabi version of Islam) are incompatible:
Has Colin Craig sued anybody today?
Has Penny paid her rates yet?
Has silent T said sorry to anybody today?
Has Winston First paid back the money yet?
Has Mad Matt paid to IRD the PAYE he fleeced?
Have the police charged farmer X yet?
So many unanswered questions!

Massey University migration expert, shill Paul Spoonley, says its a reflection of the diverse immigration into the country.
“The old Anglo-Saxon names like Smith are just being swamped, if you like, by the arrival of these new migrant communities.”
Outside of Auckland European names still dominate but Mr Spoonleysays this could change in the future.
“India and China have big talent pools and we need their talent. They bring skills with them, so it’s part of reality for New Zealand.”
Successful economies can absorb large numbers of immigrants while sustaining high per
capita incomes, as demonstrated by the experience of New Zealand in the 19th century.
However, strong economies also perform well without immigrants: the US economy
performed well around 1900 with strong immigration, and also performed well in the 1920s
with more restricted immigration.
Factor price equalisation is still relevant as economies and markets evolve. However,
today skilled labour is not scarce relative to other factors in New Zealand, or relative to other developed countries. By OECD standards New Zealand is a strong performer on
hours and participation, and weak on total factor productivity (TFP) growth; for developed countries there is a negative relationship between TFP growth and growth in total hours
worked. New Zealand also has relatively low wages, and high emigration of skilled labour. These circumstances do not suggest a shortage of labour relative to other
resources, so there are unlikely to be large positive benefits to New Zealand from factor
equalisation from increasing labour supply.
Was wondering why Gomerel Cunliffe has failed to mention the inheritance tax or defacto death duties.Should him and his gang of ISIS type renegades lie their way into running the good ship nation of NZ,a very high price will have to be paid.Starting with higher taxes ,higher retirement age ,higher debt.and a North Korean environment.,with green taleban, labour unionists,mana/dotcom thugs, peters party liars.Roaming the streets and telling us what is good for us that they know best. The mentioned parties hate the police, our national security system, most things that are morally good will be destroyed..Sadly a few pieces of silver offered by the sicko lefftos will buy many many votes, even though the time proven well being of NZs, and their enjoyed democracy will be destroyed.,by a bunch of lying political thugs.
Logically, Shanghai Pengxin’s products will leave the country at the lowest possible price and the lowest possible level of sophistication so it can capture the maximum profit in China. For example, Shanghai could export its milk powder at commodity prices and blend them into highly valuable infant formula in China.
This model is how our primary sector now operates. For example, some 80 per cent of Fonterra’s sales are whole milk powder. It does make some infant formula. But vastly more of that is for foreign companies under their brands than for sale under its own.
Stunning evidence for this came two years ago when Pfizer of the United States sold its human nutrition business to Nestle for US$12 billion. The bulk of the business was infant formula and its prize asset a large share of the branded market in China.
Fonterra remains a substantial manufacturer of infant formula for the business now owned by Nestle. But its only reward is a toll fee for processing. Its farmer-shareholders’ only reward is the commodity price for the milk the sell to their co-op.
The red meat industry differs only in one big respect. While an excellent cut of meat attracts a high price in a foreign supermarket, the upside is far less than dairy companies enjoy with infant formula. But that point is largely irrelevant. Our meat processors capture little of the value they create for others.
This commodity trap is deeply rooted in our psyche and our economy, as the World Economic Forum proves in its annual competitiveness ranking of countries. One of its criteria is competitive advantage, with countries ranked on a scale of one (low cost natural resources) to seven (unique products and services). We score 4.1, ranking us 36th in the world.
It also ranks value capture from one (role in the value chain is mainly confined to one step such as resource extraction) to seven (involved all the way down the value chain, capturing extra value along the way). We score 3.8, ranking us 58th.
Some people will say: “Oh, well, we might as well approve some more foreign investment deals. They are small and won’t change things much.”
But things are changing fast. Previous dairy farm sales to the likes of US and German investors have had little impact because they sell their milk to NZ processors. The processors, in turn, still have the opportunity to do something more valuable with it, even if they are ineffectual at doing so.
Now, however, foreign buyers are increasingly seeking to create vertically integrated businesses.
I see kowtow is on about the Muslim demographics again. Did you know, kowtow, that the percentage of Muslims in Europe will rise from 6% in 2010 to a massive 8% by 2030? At that rate we will see a Muslim majority by the 25th century. Run for the hills!
Just a heads up that one of our fellow bloggers, the much loved Penny Bright has successfully pressured a local Baptist Church hosting a political event to have her speak as an independent candidate. So she will speak as well as John Key apparently. But she says that she can play by the rules. We shall see – as for me I remain sceptical.
“When your rights are under attack – STAND UP! FIGHT BACK! ”
I wasn’t bluffing. Graham McCready was all set to help me put an injunction together.
I’m REALLY pleased that is no longer necessary.
Looking forward to tonight! It’s going to be FUN!
PS: What the Fairfax reporter failed to mention was that last year, in the 2013 Auckland Mayoralty ‘race’ – I polled 4th with 11,723 votes.
The Helensville electorate sits within the Auckland Supercity (Super RIPOFF) boundaries, so I’ve been arguably working in the interests of the 99% of Helensville voters, in opposing this forced amalgamation since Day One.
It’s a real shame it takes threats of legal action to get equal-ish debating/speaking rights in election forums. Good on Penny for pressuring for equal democratic rights.
All candidates in any election should be on an equal opportunity footing. Far too often self interested media and self protecting major parties try to pick and exclude losers. That should be up to the voters.
A majority only matters when you seek a democratic mandate.
Muslims will go to war with Europe long before that. They don’t believe in democracy.
We are weak and don’t want to fight. They know that. They and their useful idiots in the left, multiculturalists, the media etc will bring down first our culture and then our civilisation ,unless we’re prepared to do something about it.
The attacks on Abbott for stopping the boats are an excellent exampe of the war against the west.
Make no mistake ,this is the Koran,Islam at its purest. Demanding conversion on pain of death and murdering those who refuse and the taking of sex slaves ,it’s all in the Koran. It was Jewish tribes who mostly suffered this fate in the days of Mohammed, that’s why the Islamic world particularly hate Jews,it’s in the Koran.
Get a copy and study it.
Don’t be fooled by the apologists in academia ,the craven Christian churches or Muslim spokesits who say there is no compulsion in Islam, there is respect and tolerance for others, jihad is a spiritual struggle.
Hear this mng from Junior Junior at Akld Uni that there is a concerted move afoot to get people along to really disrupt tonight’s Helensville election meeting. It appears that many were at the previous Utube meeting.
They are looking to out do the Utube from last week with Adolf Kim de Crim – targeting Key.
Sounds actually serious anarchist attempt.
Hope does not go to violence but suspect that is what the organisers want.
Holly Ryan should have pulled the plug on the whole thing rather than accept the Church’s decision, reschedule and sell tickets at a nominal price, call it a private function and tell Penny to Foxtrot Oscar.
Make no mistake ,this is the Koran,Islam at its purest. Demanding conversion on pain of death
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
he that believeth not is condemned
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Colmar Brunton have done a very interesting analysis of movements in party preference since the 2011 election. It shows there are significant swings across all major parties, both to and from each party.
That is totally different. Christians aren’t threatening to actually physically kill you now if you don’t convert. Those scriptures you quote are largely about the afterlife and the decision of what will happen to you is based upon your choice right now.
If I told you that you had a choice between swimming in a crocodile infested lake, or a heated swimming pool, which would you choose? Well, you have the same choice as regards where you want to spend the afterlife. And Christians are telling you about it – warning you about it – giving you the choice – right now. You can do whatever you want.
Cummings, editor “Manawatu Standard”, has just shown his left-wing bias in one of the most disgusting editorials one could ever have the misfortune to read. This pathetic socialist beast should be removed from his position of influence, showing the ability, decency, and decadence of a rodent.
“I saw Pope Emeritus Joseph Ratzinger murder a little girl″ stated another witness on Oct. 28 2013. “It was at a French chateau in the fall of 1987. It was ugly, horrible and didn’t happen just once. Ratzinger, Dutch Cardinal Alfrink and Prince Bernhard were some of the more prominent men who took part.”
The allegations confirmed what Dutch therapist and witness Toos Nijenhuis told Annett a few months prior. Toos claimed that as a child she also was forced to witness child murders that involved Ratzinger, Alfrink and Bernhard.
Re HJ at 9.56 linking to Hickey on Chinese capital flows to NZ….
Interesting to see in the article who the local links are:
State-owned China Construction Bank, chaired in New Zealand by Jenny Shipley, was registered as a New Zealand bank earlier this year, while Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, chaired here by Don Brash, was registered as a New Zealand bank last year.
Do you reckon the banks will do well in NZ if these two have any more than figurehead roles?
“The allegations confirmed what Dutch therapist and witness Toos Nijenhuis told Annett a few months prior. Toos claimed that as a child she also was forced to witness child murders that involved Ratzinger, Alfrink and Bernhard.”

I gather anyone can post pretty much anything at Before It’s News. So no surprise that Ugly’s pal Kevin Arnett (of Canadian ‘genocide’ fame) would branch out from his own blog (masquerading as an international court) to post there as well.
“What we’re looking at with Chomsky is a man who has dedicated essentially his entire public life to political evil. I think we are justified in calling such a person a monster.” So says Yaron Brook, commenting on Michael J. Totten’s post, “Noam Chomsky: The Last Totalitarian.”
Chomksy was a structuralist,* a supporter of Pol Pot, and the left’s go-to man for hate-filled intellectual venom. The post on which Yaron comments is an interview with Benjamin Kerstein, author of the book Diary of an Anti-Chomskyite. Asked to boil his case against Chomsky down to a few paragraphs, Kerstein makes four points: http://pc.blogspot.com.tr/2014/08/noam-chomsky-monster.html
An Israeli scientist and award-winning security expert has called the Iron Dome missile defence system “the biggest hoax the world has seen”, Addustour news website has reported.
According to Dr Motty Scheffer, “Today, there is no missile which can intercept other missiles or rocket-propelled grenades, and the Iron Dome is a light audio system which blocks Israeli public opinion and, of course, itself. In fact, all the explosions that we have seen in the atmosphere are self-destruction. The Iron Dome did not launch any rocket that could intercept at least one missile fired from Gaza.”
“You couldn’t say how my 3:25 post from that thread (which was about Zionists) was evidence of the “Jew hatred””
Anti-Semitism & Anti-Zionism:
“There is a dangerous confluence between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism, though the two concepts are not always identical. Anti-Zionism is often used to conceal hatred of Jews. Anti-Semitic views can be easily distinguished from legitimate criticism of Israel.
Consider the source. Is the speaker someone with a history of anti-Jewish attitudes? (That’s you UglyNazi)
Critics who habitually single out Israel for condemnation while ignoring far worse actions by other countries (especially other Middle Eastern countries) are anti-Semitic. (That’s you again UglyNazi)
Likening Israel to Nazi Germany, or to traditional anti-Jewish stereotypical behavior is another sure sign of Jew-baiting. (You again)
Attacks on the merits of Israel’s existence rather than individual government policies are anti-Semitic.” (And you again)
There is a dangerous confluence between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism, though the two concepts are not always identical. Anti-Zionism is often used to conceal hatred of Jews. Anti-Semitic views can be easily distinguished from legitimate criticism of Israel.
So is reporting the collaboration between Zionists and Nazis anti-semitism or is it legitimate criticism?
Here’s the content again:
Attacking Key on these issues achieves nothing other than to draw attention away from the real problem. The problem is bigger than Key or the National party, and relates to the collaboration between the Zionists and the Nazis in the establishment of the Zionist state in Palestine.
It would be wishful thinking if it could be stated that the leaders of the Zionist movement sat back and ignored the plight of their dying brothers and sisters. Not only did they publicly refuse to assist in their rescue, but they actively participated with Hitler and the Nazi regime. Early in 1935, a passenger ship bound for Haifa in Palestine left the German port of Bremerhaven. Its stern bore the Hebrew letter for its name, “Tel Aviv”, while a swastika banner fluttered from the mast. And although the ship was Zionist owned, its captain was a National Socialist Party (Nazi) member. Many years later a traveler aboard the ship recalled this symbolic combination as a “metaphysical absurdity”. Absurd or not, this is but one vignette from a little-known chapter of history: The wide ranging collaboration between Zionism and Hitler’s Third Reich. In early January 1941 a small but important Zionist organization submitted a formal proposal to German diplomats in Beirut for a military-political alliance with wartime Germany. The offer was made by the radical underground “Fighters for the Freedom of Israel”, better known as the Lehi or Stern Gang…
Well, you have the same choice as regards where you want to spend the afterlife. And Christians are telling you about it – warning you about it – giving you the choice – right now..
There is no afterlife.
You have only one life live the fuckin thing.
FFS Stop peddling bronze age superstitious nonsense we are not a bunch of ignorant goat herders here to be targeted with your garbage.
Yip the findings of science as backed by the all the worlds major scientific body’s
Compared to the wittering of ignorant goat herders as told verbally for at least three hundred years.
No wonder you can not tell the difference between superstitious nonsense and reality.
By the way the post as quoted was peddling a bronze age superstition about sky fairy’s afterlife haven and hell.. Absolute dribble the a you god whackers should keep within your Sunday gatherings for the deluded and weak of mind.
“Yip the findings of science as backed by the all the worlds major scientific body’s”
Well Griff I happen to agree with you on that topic. My point was that there are a lot of posts from various sides that people disagree with. That’s just the nature of a blog which tolerates a high degree of free speech. Sometimes I think that tolerance goes too far, but that’s up to David, not myself or you.
“By the way the post as quoted was peddling a bronze age superstition about sky fairy’s afterlife haven and hell.. ”
Well that’s just your opinion Griff, though it’s technically incorrect. Most of the statements concerning Heaven and Hell are in the New Testament, which was not written in the Bronze Age, nor was it written by goat herders.
You can’t really claim to represent reason or science when you get basic historical facts like that wrong.
“The mainstream media’s biased, libelous, and often erroneous portrayal of Israel in the current conflict has fueled a wave of anti-Semitism, the likes of which I have not witnessed in my lifetime. Well done, CNN, BBC, Reuters [and] MSNBC, you’ve set the stage for a new Holocaust. Maybe you’d be happy/satisfied when the extremist nutbags you defend so much, who eagerly martyr their own children who chant for the death of all Jews, not just the Israeli’s, and whose ethics, morals and values stand diametrically opposed to your own liberal views of freedom of religion, gay marriage, pro choice, and even democracy itself, strip the region of the only bastion of true liberty that exists in the region. Well, guess what? Never again. Jews aren’t so easy to fuck with anymore.”
Assuming this is true – and a lot of reporters are picking up on it already – it sounds like somebody wanted al-Maliki out, but he’s not inclined to go. Actually, the WSJ predicted there was trouble afoot in the naming of the new PM earlier this week.
I suppose I’d better go check Al Jezeera. They might even have photos of Obama leaving the golf links!
If only that useless prick in the White House had acted sooner on the ISIS vehicle convoys ,there’d be a hell offa lot less of the fuckers to repatriate (no doubt at our expense)when it’s over ,only to give the security services a massive headache. And a lot fewer for the next genertion of jihadis at the Saudi backed mosques in Auckland,Hamilton, hristchurch ,Sydney and Melbourne, someone else to look up to and emulate.
“Israel’s Iron Dome missile-defense system is an ironclad success.”
As it might have saved lives I agree.
Even if it saved 1.
Of the 3,360 rockets fired from Gaza, 2,303 hit Israel while ‘only’ 584 were intercepted by Iron Dome.
That is less than an 18% success rate…..
Dexter Filkins of The Forever War fame ( Afghanistan and Iraq ) has the real measure of the real complexity that is Iraq when he considers the fate of the Kurds caught up in the hell fire of this beleaguered country .
The complexity is that the Bush administration favoured a “One Iraq” solution that did not accommodate Kurdish National and Independent aspirations. This was a sop not only to the Malik government abut more especially Turkey who have strongly resisted the idea of a Sovereign Kurdish Nation.
Obama continues with that policy,
just announced the Yellow Pages Group has under advisement from a Squashed female person that the next bunch of telephone books will not include ethnic Chinese but will publish phone no’s in Pinyin of indigenous that is local born Chinese ,those that have received an apology already. A draft apology has been sent to the UN by the leader of HM’s loyal opposition Mr Solli Cunliffe for those Chinese who have had to pay exorbitant fees to get into NZ and were subject to land discrimination policies. A Brown Pages edition is underway but due to phonetics and inter tribal differences especially over the use of Cuzzie and identifying penal institutions as bone fide addresses may not be published till after the election.
Other Andy @2.38
“…less than an 18 per cent success rate…”
Maybe not. Anti-missile missiles are very expensive, so the Iron Dome system calculates the likely landing point of an incoming rocket and does not launch an intercept if the rocket is likely to hit empty ground.
“The system is designed to intercept and destroy short-range rockets and artillery shells fired from distances of 4 kilometres to 70 kilometres away and whose trajectory would take them to a populated area.”
The “top surnames” in Auckland will be biased by cultural factors. For example, some 20% of South Koreans have the family name of Kim. I don’t think 20% of English-New Zealanders have the family name of Smith.
“The system is designed to intercept and destroy short-range rockets and artillery shells fired from distances of 4 kilometres to 70 kilometres away and whose trajectory would take them to a populated area.”
Quite true Odakyu-sen. Compared to English (plus Scots etc) surnames, the Chinese have a quite limited number of surnames. If there were two equally sized populations of Anglos and Chinese living together, I would expect pretty well all the most popular surnames to be Chinese for this reason.
Tin foil boy you ever tried independent confirmation of you story’s?

Thank goodness the ever-pragmatic Japanese don’t allow themselves to get wrapped up in this kind of nonsense.
Quote: “Under Article 809(1) of the Civil Code, individuals sharing a common ancestor in their paternal lineage, no matter how far back in time, may not marry. In contrast, under Article 815, as long as a couple does not share a common ancestor in their maternal lineage within four generations, they may marry. Introduced into Korean society with Confucianism in the fifteenth century during the Chosôn dynasty, the principle was established during China’s Han dynasty, and gradually weakened until it was abolished by China’s Qing dynasty at the turn of the century.
Given that there are only 274 Korean family names, 43% of which are Kim, Lee, or Park, the intra-clan marriage ban has been a serious problem. Based upon statistics gathered by Lee’s Korea Legal Aid Center for Family Relations, an estimated 300,000 couples have defied the ban.
I see that John Stringer is the Conservatives candidate for Ilam. Is this the same John Stringer who has been a guest contributor to Kiwiblog and is or was a National party member? Is this also the same John Stringer that left National temporarily to assist the Christian Coalition’s campaign director in 1996? Apparently John Stringer not agree that the Conservatives are more trouble than they are worth.
