Thank you very much for your kind donation

August 12th, 2014 at 1:00 pm by David Farrar

The Herald reports:

National’s election war-chest has been given a half-million dollar boost by the estate of a wealthy Christchurch businessman.

Electoral Commission records show the party has received a $517,790 donation from the estate of Cyril Smith earlier this month.

Dead people make the best donors. Their motives are beyond doubt, as there can be no suggestion of self-gain from the donation.

:-) very true dpf! It is always great to see engagement in the political process, and even better when there is clearly no self-interest at stake.

sitigie – if you are concerned about the rich, I would direct your attention to Colin Craig and Kim Dotcom. Amazing how many millions each has poured into their own party. Fortunately, all completely transparently declared under our electoral laws.

He’s just been taken away by the Lizard people to their advanced medical life extending moon base, which is what the donation covers. His “death” is just a false flag to cover this.

Cyril Smith was a good guy.
    I knew him quite well.
A gentle soul, he funded a lot of the Judge/Renouf Corp juggling but was simply a funder, a “cash cow”. The Smith’s had a magnificent home, with spacious grounds, west pf the main road from the city to ChCh airport. Cyril ( C S Smith, from mem ?) was never more than a cash cow to those folks. But he stayed sufficiently aloof to protect his family and his estate, and to make a bequest to National that will really help New Zealand progress.

    RIP Cyril.
