Yeah it’s spoilt the freedom of speech which used to be this blog’s distinction apart from all others.

Whale’s a shocker on that score. Bunch of nancies.

Fair enough.

It’s their places.

But I’m afraid if you want robust debate then leave it as it has always been here, don’t bow to PC psychobabble bullshit, which is all Dirty Politics was.

And quite frankly, the main value of a blog to those who comment on it is not in the host’s posts, it’s in the subsequent discussions. So why restrict those, in any way?

Because a bunch of nancy lefties can’t take the heat? What sort of logic is that, on a conservative blog?

Nostradamus, yep.

Johnboy, don’t let the moderated comments disturb you – they’ll be sorted out. It’s just unintended consequences for now. In the meantime, we have at least a 7 minute window to communicate before the comments disappear (if they do). Or maybe less, as I wasn’t keeping track of how long Redbaiter’s stayed up.

This is a most disturbing development.
I have reported one comment when all in red called me a c##t . I noted the report under his comment And did not just hide behind our anonymity.
I agree one hundred percent with reid DPF was unduly influenced to moderate our freedom by a politically motivated attack.
Even more distressing is the concerted effort to censor certain voices who thou I dont agree with still need to be heard.
even if just for the opportunity to laugh at their weird world views.

Apparently we still have a hug and fix em Judge in the employment of the taxpayer.

If ever there was a case for prventive detention and three strikes and more this lovely piece of shit is it.

A gang member with an extensive history of violence has avoided a sentence of preventive detention for the second time.

Robert Winterburn, 47, has spent most of his adult life in jail, with convictions for manslaughter and attempted murder.

When he appeared before Justice Potter in 1997, she warned him that if he ever appeared in court again there would be no option but a sentence of preventive detention.

But when the Waipukurau Mongrel Mob member appeared for sentencing on his latest raft of offences before Justice Joe Williams in the High Court at Napier yesterday, he was instead jailed for 11 years and four months, with a non-parole period of five years and four months.

The offences included rape and threatening to kill, after he drove his girlfriend to Pukehou cemetery, near Waipawa, last year, telling her she was “never going home again”. He forced her to undress because he thought she was wearing a police bug, and raped her.

Williams said Winterburn was in prison from 1992 until 2011, but incarceration had made him more of a criminal, rather than less.

I hope you aren’t going to turn into a trigger happy Cam Slater DPF?

Cam and Baldrick are booting commenters off left right and centre that don’t agree with them. Last time I counted I think they have six people commenting on blogs now that all fall over each other loving National. Its not healthy surely?
