“Putin ‘under Satan’s influence'”

“President Vladimir Putin has fallen under the spell of Satan and faces eternal damnation unless he repents, a top Ukrainian clergyman said in an unusually blunt statement that squarely blamed the Russian leader for the war in Ukraine.

Patriarch Filaret heads the Kiev Patriarchate, a branch of the Orthodox Church that broke away from Moscow in 1992 after the fall of the Soviet Union and the declaration of an independent Ukraine.

His church, a rival of the Moscow Patriarchate which is closely linked to Putin, strongly supports Ukrainian nationhood and the Kiev government’s struggle to defeat pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.

”With great regret I must now say publicly that among the rulers of this world … there has appeared a new Cain, not by his name but by his deeds,” Patriarch Filaret said, invoking the Biblical character who killed his brother Abel.

”Like the first fratricide of history Cain, these deeds show that the afore-mentioned ruler has fallen under the action of Satan,” he said in the statement, published the patriarchate’s website in Ukrainian, Russian and English.

”This ruler is cynically lying, saying his country is not a party to the conflict in Ukraine, though he did everything in order to foment the conflict and maintain it,” said Filaret.

”He calls himself a brother to the Ukrainian people, but in fact according to his deeds, he has really become the new Cain, shedding the brotherly blood and entangling the whole world with lies,” Filaret said.”

I noticed how various lleaders like GWB, Obama , Cameron were quoted entirely out of context through some half clever editing and juxtoposition .

Back to the Future: Helping indigenous peoples recover autonomy and self-reliance.

“There are important conservative values, such as respect for autonomy and devolution that can be incorporated into a new conservative vision that can appeal to First Nations. By encouraging both economic self-reliance and political autonomy, conservatives can create a vision that resonates within Aboriginal communities.

A new conservative vision for Aboriginal peoples must, first and foremost, accept the constitutional realities of Aboriginal and treaty rights. In fact, it will be argued that respecting treaties is part of the classical liberal tradition of respecting contracts. Conservatives should be the most enthusiastic supporters of treaties. It will also be argued that a new conservative Aboriginal policy should be sensitive to the role that historic colonialism has played in diminishing Aboriginals as peoples and how this can be reversed.

Last, philosophical conservatives should look to positive models for indigenous empowerment that can be imported here in Canada. For example, the New Zealand Maori are examples of indigenous peoples who have achieved increased economic self-reliance and increased political autonomy at the same time. Both values are not mutually exclusive.

At its root, conservative thinking can be reconciled with the discourse of indigenous nationalism or communitarian thought. Indigenous academic Taiaike Alfred indentified that the fundamental desire of modern indigenous communities are to “reclaim political and geographic space” in order to find solutions to their own problems[iii]. The message from many indigenous leaders is the desire to break the dependency on “colonial institutions.” These messages can be reconciled with the conservative message of self-reliance, autonomy and freedom.

New Aboriginal thinkers, such as BC lawyer Calvin Helin, have also burst onto the scene. Helin’s book Dances with Dependency is now a best seller and is based on recovering an indigenous sense of self-reliance. He is part of a growing movement of young Aboriginals who don’t accept the idea that economic integration comes at the expense of First Nation identity. It is these new leaders that conservatives must make common cause with.”

I’ve told you before stupidboy Jones is a disinformation agent. If you have to critique a source of information on a subject on which you have no understanding, I suggest you at least chose one which is regarded as credible amongst people who do understand the subject.

So…was just reading about Greens policy regarding riparian rights and stock fencing the Queen’s Chain etc.

What defines ‘farmer’ and is it all land that borders waterways? I have nine acres intersected by a stream lol, fence the stream for the Queen’s chain and there wouldn’t be much left. Bet I wouldn’t be compensated.

I appreciate the intent, but not the outcome for smaller ‘farmers’.

The problem is that one lot conspiracy nutjobs thinks the other lot are “disinformation agents” and the other lot think their opponents are “disinformation agents.” They all accuse each other of this, because none of them are credible. The truth is that none of them are “disinformation agents” (there is no such thing anyway) they are all just a bunch of whackjobs with UFO/Aliens on Mars theories and nothing more.

Reid, what is emerging about Senator McCain’s alleged meeting with ISIS last year was not in fact ISIS but elements in the moderate faction of the Free Syria Army.At that meeting no members of ISIS were present but that will not stop a good lie getting in front of the facts and especially among conspiracy nut jobs such as youself.

So… regarding the not employing relatives, spouse etc by Parliamentarians. Does that mean that if single and after having engaged staff for ones offices, that if a ‘relationship’ ensues that is ‘formalised (or at what point?) would that employment have to cease or would it?

1. – Can I deduct inflation? If not why not?

2. – What about all those deductions available in other tax areas?

The whole CGT / TOI is bullshit, and any advocate of CGT/TOI needs re-education – mainly on the issue of failed copy cat taxes..
