Mana candidate lashes Dotcom

September 1st, 2014 at 7:07 pm by David Farrar

3 News reports:

Internet Mana candidate has gone rogue and come out swinging at her party’s so-called visionary, .

She says he’s pulling the strings and is in politics for all the wrong reasons – including revenge.

Internet Mana’s the party that’s big on going big – big names, big productions, big personalities. But now it seems it’s got big problems too.

“Who is pulling the strings? Well, the big man himself,” says Ms Beyer.

Ms Beyer, a former Labour MP and New Zealand’s first transgender MP, is Mana’s candidate in the southern Maori seat of Te Tai Tonga.

She believes Dotcom is tearing her party apart.

“His reasons for becoming involved in New Zealand politics in the way he has is one of retribution against people who he feels have slighted him,” says Ms Beyer.

If Georgina Beyer can work it out, why can’t Hone Harawira or Laila Harre? Maybe it’s the $4 million he has put into the parties they claim to lead.

Beyer also said that she has started to see the leader (Harawira) forfeit some of his strong held beliefs for the sake of political expediency. This presumably is a reference to his u-turn on cannabis law.

“Tearing her party apart”? Since it was a Frankenstein monstrosity stitched together by Kim Dot Com himself, she seems dim not to have considered the possibility that the party is tearing itself apart because It Was Not Meant To Be in the first place.

What metcalph said. What the f***? This is starting to look like a pattern. Remember when George left that theatre production in the lurch by not turning up? What a typical queen. Typical of Klark to have had someone like this on board though.

I have little interest in what the unemployable George Beyer has to say on the makeup or direction or constitution or ethics of the utterly evil Internet Mana cabal.

Sykes, Minto, Hadfield, Harre, Corkery, the German – what the f*** did he expect? Bugger off to your life of nothing Beyer.

Where’s she been? Even Saddam didn’t last that long in a hole in the ground.

I am amazed it made TV3 coverage at all. TV3 seem to think that a German fraudster spending $4 million to oust the government is nothing much to remark on. But if a National politician emails a right-wing blogger then it is a scandal that threatens to topple the government.

Georgina completely flummoxes me here. I can’t get my head around a strongly left wing, x Labour Party MP, who’s not 100% indoctrinated into the ends justifies the means. She stands to gain here and she’s speaking out against the leader. Will she at least be stripped of her union card for this so we can welcome her back from full indoctrination.

Nice to see this reported on TV3. There will come a time, quite shortly I hope, when the abomination that is the Mana/Internet Party alliance will be revealed for all to see. As bad as the “dirty politics” issues are, I can think of nothing worse that the absolute corruption that is currently taking place of New Zealand politics by a convicted fraudster. It is utterly unbelievable to me that this happening right under our noses. The silence of the Left on this is deafening.

Good on Georgina for speaking the truth.

When the hell is the media going to wake up? Until now they’ve been selling out our democracy by not performing their role. If the media wants to know why Whale Oil is so popular THIS is the reason.

Georgina was hoping to get another 3 years on the teat, polls aren’t going their way, she is miles off getting in on list so she is lashing out in desperation to try and get some traction as a constituency MP. Or maybe Kim has turned off the money to her due to her being ineffectual.

There is no doubt that Dotcoms dollars and influence have completely hijacked the Mana Party who must be asking themselves the question: “Who do we represent”. Lailla Harre and Pam Corkery are not on the same planet as Annette Sykes and Hone Harawira, their motives and ambitions ( Harre, Corkery) are not about reducing poverty or about stimulating business activity in the North.Harre and Corkery are political junkies along for the ride, a free ride.
This may well play into Kelvin Davis’ hands , he could benefit from support from the older more conservative Maori voter who is not fooled by flash cash and empty promises.

If they get in with 3.5% of the vote then this is possibly the cleverest political move we’ve seen since Jenny Shipley booted Winston (Something gutless john key wouldn’t do) out. It was unlikely that Hone would have even got into parliament, and now its looking quite possible they will get 4 people in, most of this is probably due to the Dot Com. Like him or not, he is doing an effective job.

BTW – Dot Com’s dislike of the national party isn’t just one way. It is astounding seeing how much DPF and other national party associates hate the guy. Put yourself in his shoes, wouldn’t you be doing everything you could possibly do to avoid extradition to country where you were even in when the alleged crimes took place? Wouldn’t you feel a large amount of disgust if you had police come raiding into your house with helicopters and firearms?

    Election 2014

In breaking news the Whorald reports the Hon Judith Collins farts in the bath. Senior scribbler David Fish, ah, got wind of this breaking but is now trying to distance himself and he remains tight-lipped.

“I knew it”, howled Russel Norman, “I knew it,” he burbled, wallowing with pleasure, “It stinks and I call for a full bathtub and a severe towelling. Some people will think this story is a gas but it’s a green house gas, and as greens it’s our business if it’s anyone’s business, not that jt seems to be business yet, but for us it’s business as usual.”

David Cunliffe, mimicking a top dog in a bowler and bow tie, whimpered he was sorry, sorry and sorry but he was determined to get to the very bottom before floating to the top face down.

“I smell a rat”, pontificated Winston Peters, “But it might be hiding in Peter Dunne’s coiffure.” He smirked, blowing his own trumpet and a boomerang kiss in the air.

Jamie Whyte pondered the embouchure, and its relevance to the tone and everything.

Pita Sharples declared solemnly, to his people, that the election had been subject to far too many eructations (sic) already. He threw a handful of Quick-Eze in the air for his people.

“I’m gobsmacked, big gobsmacked,” snorted Cam Whale, who swims with the former minister, “I thought she was coming up for air. Give her more room. Or beans, she can count them, or on them.”

The prime minister, the Rt Hon John Key, muttered under his breath, much more of this poo and we’ll be up the creek without a paddle. (Where’s my whip when you need him?)

Cathy Ogden whispered, “Can anyone give me a paddle, please, or a job?”

Colin Craig didn’t say, “Can anyone give me a job.” He’s a goody good two shoes and straight-laced. “She’s probably blown it, or not, I take a neutral view,” he sniffed.

Last but least, Hone Harawira spat, “Guten morgen, we used to boil the paleface. That took the wind out of their sails and made them soft and easy to swallow. But now they are soft anyway and they swallow our line hook and sinker if we bait them enough. I got my teeth into a gross swine now and you’re all kaput. Pakeha ist verboten! Mach schnell!
