- Canada – 3
- China – 6
- Colombia – 1
- Ecuador – 1
- Fiji – 1
- Indonesia – 1
- Japan – 4
- Peru – 2
- Philippines – 1
- Samoa – 1
- Thailand – 6
- UAE – 3
- US – 12
- Vanuatu – 1
Most are for drugs crimes or sex crimes.
I’m sure there are more than eight Kiwis in jail in Australia. I imagine only the high profile ones get reported.
