Can someone explain to the Greens the difference between correlation and causation

First of all can someone please explain to the Green MP the difference between correlation and causation. Or it is possible she knows the difference, but ignored it.

Also explain the difference between deprivation and .  The deprivation rating is the rating for the overall neighbourhood, and not for the individual family – plus it is not just a measure of .
