Cloudy day.
Only work is to sort out a crappy courier company that damages goods in transit. Different one to yesterday.
goods sent Wgtn to Tga 16th DEC. damaged and returned to WGTN without any notification to either sender or receiver.
Goods were for repair and return but we still haven’t received them as of yesterday.

Customer and sender and receiver are all pissed with Castle Parcels.
Total lack of communication, brain function or common sense.

Good morning fellow Kiwi Bloggers, a merry Christmas and prosperous New Year to you all!

Thank you for the comments, interactions (including down ticks) and great posts that have made for an entertaining blog reading year; a special thank you to Mr DPF for hosting the event with great analysis, figures and comments throughout.

Last day working this year and I would like to make it as nice and as enjoyable as possible without over indulging in the festive mince pies.

Just for today (and every other day) can we please dispense with the climate change protagonists who insist on a small virtual tree of argument, copied and pasted from somewhere else; and not just the climos either, all the cut and paste merchants, the information provided in great big blocks really does become quite wearisome.

Can we post our own thoughts and opinions, write a short introduction and provide the link. As the introduction to the persuasive information will be so well considered and presented, I am confident that I will be compelled to click onto the link.

Can we have a nut bar amnesty for today? Some of us are allergic to nuts! Give Penny (and the others who know who you are) a break. I am sure that she has the conviction of her opinions but we can avoid a whole pile of vitriol and angst by just smiling benignly at her as some sort of mad cat lady who has the faint odour of pee following her about (I could be wrong about the pee)

Thank you again KBer’s for a great opinionated year, I look forward to reading and interacting with you all here again in the New Year. 

The Otago Daily Times has effectively identified the car dealers involved with Brent Bachop in fleecing Dunedin ratepayers.

The lawyer of one dealer told Deloitte:

it was ”not uncommon” for vehicles previously sold privately to remain registered in the name of the former owner, or be transferred shortly before a sale to the company when the vendor realised the registration had not been changed.

But other dealers have slammed it as a smear on all dealers, “completely abnormal”, ”recognised that was not kosher”, shocking and ”being swept under the carpet”.

Dealership 1: Bought seven DCC vehicles between 2006 and 2012; council received some proceeds from one sale. Ownership of five transferred from council to Brent Bachop shortly before dealership bought them. Dealer aware of that in three cases. Proceeds for other vehicles paid directly to Mr Bachop despite still being in council ownership.

Dealership 2: Bought three council vehicles in 2008; council saw no proceeds from sales. Ownership of each transferred from DCC to Mr Bachop shortly before the sale. Allowed a council vehicle, bought from same dealer three months earlier, to be used as a trade-in for a personal vehicle bought by Mr Bachop.

Dealership 3: Bought four council vehicles between 2003 and 2006; council received some proceeds in three cases. Paid DCC directly for three cars, and Mr Bachop directly for the other, for which the proceeds never went to council.

A lot more cars were sold to private individuals and families.

But the council has tried to bury this in the Christmas rush hoping that everyone will have forgotten by next year.

It won’t be forgotten.

I see that French security forces are to be on high alert over Christmas after what Stuff tells us are three ‘lone wolf’ attacks, leaving one dead and thirty wounded. Two of the attackers shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ as they began their attacks. Predictably, the media are reporting that two of the attackers had mental health issues and, along with French governmental officials, are trying to downplay any Islamic connections.

‘Mental health issues’ would appear to be a defining characteristic of any Islamic attack, it seems to me. Why else would anyone go on a killing rampage, murdering and injuring innocent people they don’t even know.

Citifleece – what the Hell! DCC vehicle disposal methods was asking for trouble! They should have:
1. put vehicles up for tender with tenders to be placed in a double locked tenders box opened by two people.
2. sent the vehicles off for auction.

No exceptions!

This is more ridiculous than when DCC parking wardens kept plastering contractors’ vehicles with tickets when doing drainage replacements. DCC parking and drainage departments could not resolve the matter between themselves. The Engineer to the Contract then declared that the cost of the tickets plus 10% were contract extras payable by DCC to the contractor. After that the contractor did not care how many tickets he got.

In a move to contain the ruble crisis, the government today instructed five of the country’s biggest state-controlled exporters to reduce their foreign currency assets to October levels and to not raise them again until March. The companies targeted were gas giant Gazprom, oil companies Rosneft and Zarubezhneft and diamond producers Alrosa and Kristall.

Today the ruble was steady as it has been for the past few trading sessions, floating around the 55 mark against the dollar. That’s certainly an improvement on last week when the ruble plunged at one point to near 80 against the dollar.

Seems the defacto cub reporter ,the News of the World scandal paper, found guilty of corrupt invasion of privacy on unsuspecting readers,amongst many other things.One of their refugee employees an import called Andrea Vance ,who seems to have made it to NZ,gets an apology for an invasion of her so called “privacy”. Certainly an irish joke for her,hope she enjoys the ironical apology.

Nukuleka: I firmly believe that the Islamic creed has a detonator concealed within the 5 times a day prayer regime. It has always puzzled me why there is a need for that strict number, and I can only put it down to that for a message to be completely instilled in the mind, it must be continuously reinforced. Alcohol is banned because that would interfere with the brain conditioning, patriarchy keeps a strict structure in the praying family, and all other ‘rules’ are there to keep the faith intact. Yes Muslims do have ‘mental health’ issues that lie beneath the outwardly calm persona we see in public areas; walking time bombs would be a more apt description. To combat Islam you must first short circuit the brain conditioning – how that is done is beyond me.

@ Viking2 – our businesses changed to Fastway last year, and have no regrets whatsoever. We’d had an absolute gutsful of Courier Post, and would have left them long ago but for the local delivery guy who was brilliant. He was being screwed by the company as well, and after he left, so did we.

Here’s a crazy notion – why don’t we wait until they stuff up before we berate them.

If they give in to SkyCity’s shameless attempt to grab from the public purse, I’ll completely agree that’s incompetent and spineless. But Joyce’s statements for now are promising, they seem to indicate National will do the right thing and tell SkyCity where to go.

ha, 9 years with Fastway, Now some of our stuff is longer than their 1.8 (which is limited by their stupid cage designs which they all copy and which are neither customer nor courier friendly), but they managed to break so much and couldn’t handle so much. Courier we had all thru that time got sacked instead of them sorting out the issues he had with them, low pay being one during the tough times and favoured courier wanting a bit of his run.Long Story)He went and so did we.
PBT and Metro Urgent Hamilton now handle all our out going. No problems with long parcels and no problems with any damage.
Easy to use and I’m looking now at using freight forward to make life easier for our customers.

Metro have a great it system. send a ticket from the desk top, in they come and I get a pickup and drop off receipt into the mail box. No having to trace, no tickets to handle as its on an account. excellent service Tga to Waikato twice a day. Recommend them .

PBT also been good. They are also growing their business here which is good.

Local Poste Haste people good. Unfortunately they on carry for Castle but the customer service Girl here has been very good with her response.

How many times does it have to be explained until it finally sinks in?

All wars are caused by a few evil people manipulating the masses for their own profit.

Part of this manipulation in our present day context is to rile the Western Christian Caucasian nations into a war with the Eastern Muslim world.

The evil ones always do this by slicing the elephant, which means, they up it over decades, so no-one notices the temperature rising.

By numerous carefully calculated incidents therefore in the last decade and a half we have been gradually boiled without most of us even noticing the temperature rise.

Once you light a fire like this, like any fire, once it catches it takes on a life of its own and all the evil ones need to do is steer it in the right direction.

Thus for example we’re starting to see not setup incidents (although more of them are that than most recognise) but spontaneous incidents with no real support, like this guy in Sydney.

And this will grow.

Tells as to whether this is really happening or not include the nature of the most heavily directed strands.

Like ISIS. Isn’t its propaganda sophisticated. Ultra sophisticated, both in market penetration and in substance. Of course it’s evil, but that shouldn’t stop one from recognising and analysing the sophistication and world-class expertise behind it. Not to mention its weapons procurement programs are wildly successful as are clearly, their finance, cos you don’t get weapons for free, or do you? Stories like the 30,000 Iraqi troops in Mosul who when confronted by ISIS abandoned their weapons and “just melted away” should raise eyebrows. 30,000, with US up to date weapons, just wee themselves and run away. Yeah right. Stories like that are tells. Not THE tell. Not the main tell. Not even one of the really significant ones. But it makes you wonder, or it should. And for all of these reasons, anyone should be asking themselves, where the fuck are they picking up the skills and the weapons and the finance from?

And you would of course as first port of call think Bahrain, Saudi, U.A.E. and the other US satraps who, coincidentally, have the biggest reputation for providing terrorist funding. And you wonder why that’s never discussed as such and questions being raised in the media as to what the US intell agencies are doing about these. But none of those discussions arise, do they and if they do, they never go anywhere, do they. Why is that?

It’s effect is established by the growing numbers of people on this very blog who increasingly blame Islam for this slander against its name. I mean just because someone or even many thousands of people say they’re doing “x” in the name of “y” doesn’t make it so, does it. The two are entirely separate, and I’m observing fewer and fewer people making that distinction in their own minds, as time goes by.

Atrocities will grow and become more outrageous and there will be many incidents of Westerners being tortured and murdered and now that with Pakistan children aren’t out of bounds you watch the same crime against Western children at one of the Western diplomatic schools. Western women will be put in their slave markets and propaganda will make sure you hear about it.

Now I’m not going to change anyone’s minds on this through one small blog post. I know that and I’m not trying to. All I’m saying is there are entirely reasonable questions out there that haven’t yet been answered. What I personally do with questions like these is I consciously resist drawing any conclusions on them. I don’t really care about whether such questions answer themselves in the negative or the positive. I really don’t. I just file them away as another potential piece in one of many potential jigsaws I have on the way the world works, and I await the next move on the chessboard.

Agreed – I’m unwillingly to spend much time following “naked links” (or those wearing barely a g-string) – neither video nor text for that matter. It’s like someone recommending a movie or book solely on the basis of the title.
Add – to be fair, Reid’s not the only one with a habit of doing that.

Seriously, what you’re doing is extrapolating the entire field as a result of one encounter with a rather radical idea which created in you cognitive dissonance. In other words, you got all emotional about it. Then you anchored that emotion to the concept of the entire field from aliens to evil cabals to fiat money to economic manipulation to contrived warfare and you threw the whole lot together in your subconscious. Now, everytime anything in the whole field is raised, that very same emotion, being anchored, then rises again and you repeat the programmed pattern.

That’s not theory, that’s how minds really do work mm, all minds.

Some of us, like EAD, UT and myself, seem to be able to emotionally detach ourselves and just watch the seemingly most radical stuff without batting an eyelid. I know I can, I can’t speak for those two but I know I can. See, to me, it’s not emotion, it’s just data, about something, that’s filed away in one of my millions of maybe piles.

I think most people don’t do it, it’s not that they can’t do it it’s more that they don’t do it, because most people like certainty on things. Therefore they practise as a subconscious habit, the act of reaching a conclusion. I’m not saying that’s a bad or a good thing, I’m simply saying that’s what many seem to do. But I don’t do that, I don’t need to. I’ve always taught myself that as soon as one reaches a conclusion one’s subconscious bias kicks in and that’s dangerous, for the truth. And it’s not that this practice paralyses me in anyway, because I still have the view that most people operating as I describe above have, plus I have a whole lot of other stuff that I can play with and test, against the real world, as history unfolds.

Thanks for the link Reid – I’m about half way through and will watch the remainder once Christmas festivities are over and done with. It has helped fit a few more pieces into the jigsaw.

Having traveled the world and viewed NZ from afar, like Japan we are also very much a social laboratory for the true rulers of the world. Where else have they got a Western Society that is so insular and detached from the rest of the World with a controlled/limited press, little political thought and such a trusting belief in Politicians.

One question Reid – do you think Putin & China are part of the NWO great game? Are they and Islam being set up as the fall guys for when the Empire of debt finally collapses so the idiot masses have someone to blame when WWIII starts?

Anyway, Merry Christmas to you all. I count my blessing for each Christmas that has come and gone since 2008 while the shell of Western Civilization is still in place for the majority. The exponentials of growth required in a welfare state, debt as money system are on their last legs and when the crash comes, these uncertain times of Q4 2014 will seem like a picnic on a warm summers day compared to what is round the corner.

Anyone who has ever worked in real operations, involving task management, timelines, budgets, schedules, shipping, construction, management teams, employees, safety, reporting, purchasing, contracting, sub-contracting, traveling, meetings, legal and lawyers, insurance, finance, banks, machinery, regulations and government knows that conspiracy theories such as those that surround the 9/11 attacks are just not ever going to be true because they would require perfection to work and this is never ever attainable.

Every operation is subject to weather, sickness, forgetfulness, poor execution, upset scheduling, budget over runs, performance failure, accidents, communication failure, personal conflict, and if they succeed it is always after over coming all of these things as a matter of course, pressing on and getting the job done. And the job may get done, but it is never ever done perfectly.

The theories that abound about the attacks on the World Trade center are implausible for the very reason that they depend upon perfection, and in an operation of that size and style, it would be impossible to achieve. For example look at Mossad’s plan to extract revenge for the Munich terrorist attacks. A relatively simple operation but if you’ve read the book you know that it was fraught with mistakes and errors, and Mossad are good operators.

Arabs hijacked the planes and flew them into the world trade center. In a remarkably successful plan that in reality should never have been so successful but achieved its objectives because the security forces charged with stopping such events were useless.

Anyone who wanted me to believe that there were other forces responsible for the attack on the World Trade Centre would have to convince me that such a perfect scenario was possible, and if I accepted that, I would be going against everything I have learnt in life so far. The level of perfection needed to carry out such an operation is impossible to achieve, and anyone who has actually done anything similar in their lives would know that. So it wouldn’t even get past the planning stage, let alone ever be executable.

The MSD is clamping down on overpayments of benefit for those that have been working in part time employment. Dating back to 2009! A coincidence of dates given Nationals term in office!

How do you trace back such errors in your own paperwork? Well its simple you dont unless you have written records and can prove that the information the IRD has supplied the MSD is correct! Also you can find your self a victim of a previous employer who may have not paid that last pay day or Holiday Payment. How you going to prove that? Well simply your not.

I read a blog from someone who has just been informed they owe the MSD over $2000 dating back 5 years! This person worked for the Ministry of Eduction and has a second firm listed as there employer! An employer they have not worked for it 3 years!

So anyone who is or has been working over the last 5 years declaring that income and claiming benefit! Watch out the MSD is clawing back every cent it can get. Placing you in debt! How ironic the IRD gives a refund for the overpayment of tax because your employment is on a secondary rate!

That’s two questions EAD.

To the first, yes. But as you know, just because you’re in the NWO doesn’t mean you’re not going to be taken out when the timing suits – look at Ghaddaffi for just one example and look at Japan for another.

China’s biggest weakness and it knows it, is what the Chinese people are going to do about wanting to live in a one-party state when it becomes apparent the state isn’t capable of giving them double-digit year in, year out growth anymore. And that day is as far away as the evil ones wish it to be, they could do it tomorrow if they wished, but it’s a long-term (decades) global tank that would trigger that and such an event also has factors other than just a single country in the calculation.

My current reading on the second is that ISIS is an experiment. They won’t particularly care if it gets wiped out, they just want to see how the dynamics play out and use them to learn for when they launch ISIS-II except this time they won’t name it after their own God, that’s IMO why they tried but failed to change its name – because certain people complained it was giving ISIS a bad name. But too late, the meme had been taken up.

Muslim-Christian war is their ultimate aim, but I have a feeling they’ll go the economic crash route first, to soften up the people and make them desperate, but you can see them making preparations all over. Well, some of us can.

Philip Smith vows to take hairpiece battle to court

Convicted murderer and paedophile Phillip Smith will go to court in a bid to get his hairpiece back next month if it is not returned to him.

An email sent to media from Smith’s lawyer Tony Ellis advised that interviews sought with Smith by TVNZ, Fairfax and Radio NZ had been refused by Corrections. A fourth request had yet to receive an answer.

Mr Ellis said he was advised by Corrections that interview requests were decided on after balancing freedom of expression and victims’ rights.

Smith had instructed Mr Ellis to seek a judicial review of Corrections’ refusal to grant the interview requests in the High Court.

Smith would also seek a review of the decision to deny him his hairpiece if he hadn’t had it back by the time the judicial review was lodged next month.

Smith’s unusual hairpiece was confiscated after he was deported from Brazil on November 28.

He then embarked on a hunger strike in a bid to have it returned, but gave up after less than four days.

We’re talking here about a convicted murderer and paedophile.

Message to the media: please don’t give this piece of shit the publicity he craves – he doesn’t deserve it.

Message to the Department of Corrections: the public would quite understand if the hairpiece happened to *ahem* be permanently misplaced.
