There are limits to what I can discuss as I have made an agreement not to engage with or about a certain poster.

I never resort to abuse like you do. have seen you level at the likes of myself, Reid, Rebaiter amongst others.

The only times I respoind with abuse has been when it was aimed at me first. In the case of one of the people you mentioned, he started on me long before I chose to respond back. Of course I should not allow myself to get drawn into that kind of personal flame war, but nobody is perfect.

For someone who is perhaps the most ethno-centric person on the entire blog (with your claims to some small fraction of Indian blood and constant attacks on European cultures)

What constant attacks on European cultures? Unlike you, I am consistently pro-West. Talking about the West’s past sins is not an attack. Talking about slavery in the US does not mean I am any less pro-US. I am passionately patriotic when it comes to the US, but that does not mean I have to be blind to it’s mistakes.

I am hardly the most ethno-cetric person on this blog, not by a long shot. Every day there are some people here talking about threats to the white race, closing down the boarders to keep non-whites out, and various other ethno-centric ideas. In fact there are many who talk from a race-based pov far, far more than I do. I think your double standards are showing.

your constant labelling of anyone you disagree with as being a “Nazi” is very distasteful.

Now, you just said it was wrong to put words in peoples mouths or misrepresent them, and here you are doing just that.

The ONLY times I accuse others of being Nazi’s is when they express Nazi ideas. NEVER simply because they disagree with me.

In your case, it was the comment about Jews trying to wipe out the white race. You never gave any explanation for that comment, so sorry EAD, but you really can’t complain when someone takes a statement like that at face value.

Anyway, what happened to your big roadtrip around the country, I thought we wouldn’t be hearing from you for a while?

That’s a lie. Most flame wars are started by you and the best evidence of this fact is that last year you had so many more comments than the next closest commenter and thousands more than most.

In your case, it was the comment about Jews trying to wipe out the white race.

Another smear and cowardly lie. He never said that. There’s a good example of how you so constantly start flame wars.

And furthermore he is right about your racism, wherein you choose to identify as Cherokee because of some claimed distant contact and use that as the basis for constant smears against the European race. And in the manner of the Nazis, project this claimed bloodline as somehow making you superior to Europeans who lack that blood.

I actually know parents here in NZ who were pressured to opt for an abortion because of the mere suspicion that the baby might have Down’s. Thankfully, they too refused. Their baby didn’t have Down’s, but it would not have made a difference even if it did.

I believe you say this sincerely, but I’m genuinely curious about it. What could give rise to a “mere suspicion”? I was under the impression that testing for Down’s gave pretty much yes and no answers – happy to be corrected.

I don’t know what the problem is, but false positive tests for Down’s syndrome are not at all uncommon.

You will find many articles about the issue if you use Google, but this one suggests around 1 in 5 tests gives a false positive.

They can test at 9-10 weeks for Downs. They assess the results as either ” low chance ” or ” high chance”. Apparently it’s rare for those with “high chance” results to proceed.

She has studiously refused to reproduce the statements about me. I challenged her to file rape criminal charges against me. If she does, she exposes herself to criminal prosecution. I have challenged the lawyers to repeat these statements in public so there could be a defamation hearing. They want to just throw this stink bomb and then avoid any responsibility for it. They will not get away with this. There will be legal proceedings. There will be hearings. They will be deposed. I will be deposed, the records will be produced, the truth will come out and it will show these two unethical lawyers should be disbarred. I am completely and absolutely innocent of all these charges.

Speaking of lying D4J, nobody could possibly be on KB 24/7, and I’m certainly not. I’m self-employed, and my work is often in the mornings or early evenings, and on weekends. That is one of the reasons I often don’t start posting here until the afternoon.

Oh and If I was going to stab you D4J, trust me, I would be facing you at the time.

This blog would be better off if some folks with serious anger management issues would just get some counseling and stop using KB as a substitute for dealing with their issues.

Bright, a controversial figure in Auckland, has refused to pay rates since 2006 in a spat with local authorities over their refusal to be transparent over the contracts they have with the private sector. Auckland Council has promised to start publishing these on its website after Bright pointed out that Auckland Transport, an Auckland Council controlled organisation, was already publishing such a list.

From the news item referenced, it is unclear if the statement of the Council’s promise to comply is background or a court room quote.
Do you know, Penny, who said Auckland Council will comply, and when?
Was the statement part of court proceedings, and subject to being perjury if not true?

Since rates assessment notices may have failed to contain information required by the Local Government (Rating) Act, could this not render hundreds of thousands of assessments unlawful and unenforceable, being a situation that Pants Down Len Brown should offer a little more immediate attention in resolving? 🙂

‘Minus’ – that comment was not made as part of Court proceedings.

A date for Court proceedings in my rates case has yet to be set.

On 18 December 2014, I filed in the Auckland District Court and subsequently served on Auckland Council my submissions accompanied by 126 pages of ‘new’ evidence, which shows how exactly Auckland Council and previously Auckland City Council rates assessment notices and rates invoices did not comply with sections 45 and 46 of the Local Government (Rating) Act 2002.

Subsequently, after visiting the Office of the Auditor-General (OAG), and being referred to their 2012 -2013 Audit of Local Government, I provided further ‘new’ evidence, quoting sections of this report which spell out VERY clearly, how local authorities must comply with their lawful statutory requirements.

Over the Christmas break, I have discovered further pertinent ‘new’ evidence.

Being that under the Local Government (Auckland Council) Act 2011, Auckland Council can borrow money overseas in its own name, and is the only Council which is allowed to do this because of its size.

This was news to me.

I don’t recall any MAN ON THE MOON headlines on this matter – which allows Auckland Council to rark up a whole lot more debt – for which long-suffering Auckland citizens and ratepayers will be ultimately liable.

Seems there is no ‘devilish detail’ on Auckland Rates Assessment notices which advises citizens and ratepayers of their ‘liabilities’ regarding Auckland Council ‘debt’?

Oh dear ….

Do YOU ever remember being asked by Auckland Council if YOU agreed with Auckland Council being given this power and authority to borrow overseas?

Enjoy being treated as a cross between a giant CA$H COW and an ATM machine Aucklanders?

I don’t.

Which is why I’ve taken a stand which cannot be ignored.

A date for the hearing of my ‘Application to Set Aside Judgment’ in my rates case has yet to be set.

Auckland Council have until 5 February 2015 to respond to my ‘new’ evidence and submissions.

After that, a hearing date will be set.

To set aside a judgement properly obtained three things are required (from memory)
1. An explanation for the failure to take steps in the proceedings leading to the judgment being challenged,
2. A defence to the claim, and;
3. The plaintiff must not be prejudiced by the judgment being set aside.
To those who practice in the civil courts the principals are well known.
I suspect penny will be able to cook up an explaination for her delay and failure to take steps. And I can’t see the prejudice point being an issue.
So the defence. Last time I looked at the local government rating act paying rates is a statutory obligation, and the act does not to my, admittedly jaundiced, eye enable to say there is no obligation to pay Asakusa consequence of perceived breaches of requirements to provide information on a rates notice.
I feel sorry for the poor judge who has to wade through the papers filed.
And the poor appellate judge who will inevitably hear the matter.
It would be easier to pay one rates.

‘District Court Judge Mary Beth Sharp refused Penny Bright’s application to have the case sent onto the High Court saying that it could be decided in the District Court. Hardly a set back when considering that Judge Sharp said that the Council’s inaccurate assessment of rates owed by Bright didn’t give confidence in the integrity of the Debtors Judgement Ms Bright was appealing. In response Council chief financial officer said the errors with the bill were due to it being a complex case. So a staff of some 11,000 unable to work out the amount of one rates bill is because it is too complex – small wonder that would provide little confidence to over 200,000 other rate payers who recently faced rate increases.

Judge Mary Beth Sharp also disclosed the view that the ‘imperative’ for a rate payer to pay their rates did not ‘crystallize’ until the Council had fulfilled its obligations to rate payers. In other words kept it’s part of the deal. A deal which Penny Bright says is not complete because Council has not disclosed all its spending as the Law requires.’

Pretty straight forward. I think PB has told Unity here on KB, that if that spending is disclosed she will pay her rates.

Well Red it all depends upon the validity and reliability of said information. Having been trained in and worked with the scientific method I tend to prefer reliable sources that can be independently verified and can withstand rigorous critical analysis. Hence resorting to personal abuse leads me to wonder about the validity of the sources you allude to when you abuse someone rather than provide reliable evidence to support your claims.

Good grief, here you are calling me a racist and a holocaust denier and I’m the one guilty of what you call “abuse”. Hows that work? You need to get off your PC horse for a change and have a good look at your own conduct. You either allow discussion or you shut it down by falsely labeling people as you have done. All of SH’s claims have been thoroughly debunked.

Not that that is the point. The rules for this site say we are not permitted to apply broad brush arguments according to race or whatever, and I was in fact penalised for making reference to SH’s race even after he had introduced it into the argument. Boasting about his racial superiority as usual, and when I challenged his claims I was convicted of breaching that rule.

Yet here he is falsely painting all white Europeans as murderers of women and children, savages, thieves and “mass murderers”. So he breaks that rule and suffers not even a warning.

Apparently this point escapes you too. But you are of course flat out like a PC lizard drinking to reach for the same old same old leftist ploy to silence views they don’t agree with. Calling people racists and holocaust deniers. Go away and take your rank blind hypocrisy with you.
