Everything Fletch because all the draft-dodging chicken-hawk is saying is what draft-dodging chicken-hawks usually say, use other peoples lives to wreak death and destruction on the most worse bad guys, and any unfortunates who happen to be in the vicinity of the most worse bad guys, to satisfy a partisan audience.

The same bad guys who have capability to call in airstrikes on other bad guys perceived to be worser bad guys while the bureaucratic arm of US war machine admits it can’t kill its way out of a sectarian crisis in a region where sectarian violence is the norm.

But here’s an idea, the west could stay the fuck out of the way and leave it to their regional partners to solve a regional crisis and yourself and anyone else who wants to do something could contribute financially or get better still do what other westerners have done and get yourselves over there and join up.

On December 9th 2014, Mosman Oil and Gas -an Australian Company listed on the London stock market, was granted three of 15 exploration permits by the NZ government. Covering some 667 sq. km, one permit is approximately 150km north east of Wellington on the east coast of the North Island. Mosman was granted two other permits in the west coast of the South Island as well.

From Obama’s Faith

Obama’s ideal faith seems to be one that is deep yet not too deep, and certainly not something leading to fanaticism. The line between faith and “religious certainty” is far from clear, based on Obama’s statements. Certainly his definition of sin as “being out of alignment with my values” does not seem conventional to any orthodox Christian, while Obama’s choice of spiritual role models — Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and Abraham Lincoln — is curious, since only one of them was Christian in any conventional sense.

The importance of the black church cannot be overstated in Obama’s faith and worldview, including this description: “the Civil Rights movement has a powerful hold on me. It’s a point in time where I think heaven and earth meet.” On this issue, Obama seemed to possess an abundance of faith-based certainty and endorsed “religious certainty expressing itself in politics” anything but suspiciously.

What can we make of all this? By and large, Obama in the 2004 interview, and many times since, comes across as a standard-issue liberal, post-modern Protestant, which is not surprising, since the United Church of Christ, which TUCC is part of, is long on tolerance and short on orthodox beliefs. Theologically liberal, the UCC places strong emphasis on social activism and less on traditional tenets of the Christian faith.

This explanation of Obama works for me. I’ve read a number of articles trying to prove that Obama is a Muslim, and maybe he is, but he’s far more likely to be a very modern, Protestant Christian who’s just not that into religion and enamored of religious traditions that are not Christian. I mean, I’ve seen that in Catholicism in NZ – this attraction many Catholics have to spirituality outside of the Catholic Church.

It seems NOAA has been adjusting historical temperature data downward to make it seem like it is hotter now. They claimed last year, 2014, was the hottest on record at 58.24F, yet screencaps from their own website circa 1997 show the temperature for that year to have been 62.45F! Also, other years have had their temperatures adjusted downward to reinforce the warming narrative.

John Key’s speech on the TPPA and how his lies are no longer sticking

John Key was recently in Oxford, North Canterbury for the reopening of a newly refurbished town hall to which he was greeted by a group of local protestors raising their concerns regarding the highly controversial secret Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA).

In an attempt to ease the minds of those in attendance, Key gives a 2 minute public relations address to try persuade the public that the so called ‘free-trade agreement’ has tons of benefits for New Zealand, including the opening up of the American and Japanese markets by removal of all import tariffs, but fails to mention anything to do with the other 20 odd chapters which have nothing to do with trade. While the agreement is completely secret and the only information we have so far is from leaked texts via Wikileaks, what we do know is that nearly everything he said is pure misinformation. The crucial point Key forgot to mention is that America is not removing any tariffs on imports until 2030, so the benefit, if any, that New Zealand gains from the agreement in terms of trade will not be realised until 15 years down the track.

A recent report from the Sustainability Council shows the true benefits from the agreement to New Zealand are estimated to be a quarter of the figures currently being spouted by the government and trade councils, and believe overall the negatives would outweigh any positives.

There is also a very concerning clause in the TPPA called Investor State Dispute Settlement (ISDS), which gives international corporations the ability to sue our government directly if our policy makers decide to introduce any new legislation which will affect their corporate profits. An example of this is Philip Morris Tobacco which is currently in the process of suing the Australian government under a 1993 trade agreement with Hong Kong over the plain package cigarettes introduced to curb the harm caused by tobacco. American comedian John Oliver covers how ridiculous the ISDS is in this video. If the TPPA is signed with its current ISDS provisions it would seriously fetter New Zealand’s sovereignty, and the ability of our government to look out for our interests. We elect our governments, and should be able to rely on them to pass laws and implement policies to protect and grow New Zealand.

– An Investor State Dispute Settlement provision is a common provision in international trade and investment agreements.
– Labour signed New Zealand up to an an investor-state dispute settlement mechanism – see Articles 152 to 158 of the New Zealand-China free trade agreement that was signed in 2008.

Thanks. I clearly made a mistake calling him Westfield.

But the Saunders bloke is then Jewish as I read that some years ago when I read about the ‘adopted daughter’ – and yes it was Betty Saunders-Klimenko . And Lowy defiantly is Jewish. And Lowy I presume bought him out – or Betty – from their Westfield holdings.

With regards to Betty — Saunders cut her from his will, because he didn’t like Klimenko as he didn’t work. A very good mate of Saunders said a year or so later to Saunders something like this:

“Klimenko doesn’t drink, doesn’t do drugs, doesn’t play around, he looks after Betty very well, and Betty is always happy. A bloke like that is hard to find these days.”

So Saunders then put her back in the will – and left virtualy all his wealth to her. She was still with Klimenko about a year ago as I read so – and she said they were very happy together. Cheers Elaycee. 😎

AFP asked Loizeaux about the report of molten steel on the site. “Yes,” he said, “hot spots of molten steel in the basements.” These incredibly hot areas were found “at the bottoms of the elevator shafts of the main towers, down seven [basement] levels,” Loizeaux said. The molten steel was found “three, four, and five weeks later, when the rubble was being removed,” Loizeaux said. He said molten steel was also found at 7 WTC, which collapsed mysteriously in the late afternoon.

Conclusion
None of the official claims about the non-existence of molten iron or steel in the destroyed WTC buildings withstand scrutiny. The fact that the rubble contained steel or iron that had been melted shows that the buildings were destroyed by something other than fire and airplane impact. Especially dramatic evidence of various types was provided by several facts: that the original RJ Lee report showed that there was almost 1,500 times more iron in the dust than normal; that the rubble contained steel with gaping holes, manifesting a “Swiss cheese appearance” that shocked the three “fire-wise professors” from Worcester Polytechnic Institute; that lead had been vaporized; that molybdenum had been melted; and that the metal pools contained iron that had been heated, as shown by the orange color, above 2,000°C (3,632°F).

When all of this physical evidence is combined with the testimony about explosions from many types of professionals, the claim that the Twin Towers were brought down by nothing other than the airplane impacts and resulting fires is simply not credible.

Groser needs to explain why NZ must keep TPPA secret while EU releases TTIP documents

‘Trade minister Tim Groser has repeatedly claimed that negotiations for agreements like the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) are never conducted in daylight. That is simply not true.’

‘There are many such instances, including the Anti-counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) that involved six of the TPPA parties,[1] where draft negotiating texts and other documents have been released. He has ignored the inconvenient truth and continued to assert his position as fact’, says University of Auckland Professor Jane Kelsey.

‘The European Commission (EC) has now conclusively just put the lie to such claims’.

Professor Kelsey has just published two papers analysing recent developments in the negotiations between the European Union and the US called the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) which parallel those for the TPPA.

One contrasts the obsessive secrecy that continues to envelope the TPPA with the inquiry by the EU Ombudsman into transparency and public access to TTIP documents[2] and the EC’s subsequent decision to release a raft of its own negotiating documents with.[3] The second outlines the Ombudsman’s reports and the EC’s responses. [4]

The European Ombudsman was forthright. Old approaches of confidentiality and limited public participation are ‘ill-equipped to generate legitimacy’ for such ambitious agreements. ‘Given the potential impact of TTIP on the lives of citizens, key documents have to be published’.

5 Million Farmers Sue Monsanto for $7.7 Billion

Launching a lawsuit against the very company that is responsible for a farmer suicide every 30 minutes, 5 million farmers are now suing Monsanto for as much as 6.2 billion euros (around 7.7 billion US dollars). The reason? As with many other cases, such as the ones that led certain farming regions to be known as the ‘suicide belt’, Monsanto has been reportedly taxing the farmers to financial shambles with ridiculous royalty charges. The farmers state that Monsanto has been unfairly gathering exorbitant profits each year on a global scale from “renewal” seed harvests, which are crops planted using seed from the previous year’s harvest.
The practice of using renewal seeds dates back to ancient times, but Monsanto seeks to collect massive royalties and put an end to the practice. Why? Because Monsanto owns the very patent to the genetically modified seed, and is charging the farmers not only for the original crops, but the later harvests as well. Eventually, the royalties compound and many farmers begin to struggle with even keeping their farm afloat. It is for this reason that India slammed Monsanto with groundbreaking ‘bio-piracy’ charges in an effort to stop Monsanto from ‘patenting life’.

Jane Berwanger, a lawyer for the farmers who went on record regarding the case, told the Associated Press:

“Monsanto gets paid when it sell the seeds. The law gives producers the right to multiply the seeds they buy and nowhere in the world is there a requirement to pay (again). Producers are in effect paying a private tax on production.”

The findings echo what thousands of farmers have experienced in particularly poor nations, where many of the farmers are unable to stand up to Monsanto. Back in 2008, the Daily Mail covered what is known as the ‘GM Genocide’, which is responsible for taking the lives of over 17,683 Indian farmers in 2009 alone. After finding that their harvests were failing and they started to enter economic turmoil, the farmers began ending their own lives — oftentimes drinking the very same insecticide that Monsanto provided them with.
As the information continues to surface on Monsanto’s crimes, further lawsuits will begin to take effect. After it was ousted in January that Monsanto was running illegal ‘slave-like’ working rings, more individuals became aware of just how seriously Monsanto seems to disregard their workers — so why would they care for the health of their consumers? In April, another group of farmers sued Monsanto for ‘knowingly poisoning’ workers and causing ‘devastating birth defects’.

Will endless lawsuits from millions of seriously affected individuals be the end of Monsanto?

Just like a cop whose already decided whose guilty and is only interested in facts which fit that conclusion, or like an atheist who claims they want to know about God but who is really only interested in things which establish that God doesn’t exist.

Other than in the Arab lands where Islam was ‘created’, and possably Indonesia, all other countries which are Islamic, are so, because of Islamic conquest.
