Both The Herald and Stuff are carrying the story of a male Kiwi gay couple who are calling on us all to donate to their cause of bringing three babies from Mexico so that they can play ‘happy families’. And calling on the government to intervene on their behalf as well. It is time to call this for what it really is: it is sick sick sick.

Every child has the right to be brought up by a mother and a father. End of story.

Susan Brown and her husband were on a month long cruise but after an argument they decided to cut the trip short and fly home to Bristol.
Susan later believed her husband had changed his mind about flying home so presumably was still on board when the cruise left port.

65 year old Susan who had leaped into the Atlanic ocean to swim after the cruise boat was rescued from the icy cold waters after 4 hours. Her handbag that she was still clutching had filled with air and was acting as a floatation device.

It may not be ideal to have two fathers…. it sure as hell beats the fuck out of having no parents at all .

The MSM journalist does not for 1 second step back and consider just how surreal it is that a pair of “married” homosexuals from NZ paid separate women from Mexico to act as surrogate mothers so they can “start a family” and “become parents”. If you told this to someone even 5 years ago – they would have laughed you out of the room. Now the only issue apparently is “international laws”. Nature itself has been turned on its head.

A particularly egregious case is that of Elton John. He and his “husband” mixed up their semen in a vial, sent it off to an anonymous surrogate in California and 40 weeks later a new born child is sent back to the Johns to be nannied. One day that kid is going to want to know who his mother is. Sometimes children are placed in unfortunate circumstances where they don’t have both parents around, but to do it deliberately to satisfy homosexual vanities is just disgusting

Going back in time when humans were vegetarian, marriage was not an issue because the female could easily gather for the vegetarian diet, and a committed partner was not required. However when the human diet turned to meat, women were not really equipped to go hunting with children in tow. To effectively survive women needed a male hunter on tap, so permanent unions were established, though not exactly a ‘marriage’. Children of slain parents could either perish or be adopted, so all in all any changes to human relationships relied on necessity. We now have relationships formed not by necessity, but by ‘trends’ and what is ‘in’ this decade will be surpassed by another more outrageous trend in the next.

The pendulum will undoubtedly swing back to what we consider ‘conventional’ marriage, but what emotional damage will be done to children caught up in ‘unconventional’ marriages only time will tell. Chaotic situations though rarely end in smiles.

By legitimising and giving respectability to such degenerate lifestyle choices with the word “marriage”, the Political Elite have, without any public debate whatsoever, used this as the battering ram to legitimise homosexuals having “families” when nature means that they can’t.

The millenia old understanding of marriage is as the best environment in which to raise children. If homosexuals can now be “married”, how can one object them to using the same methods to raise a “family” as heterosexual couples?

Yesterday, I emailed Simon Collins of the NZ Herald to complain about a distortion of the truth in a story that he wrote about people having their benefits stopped..

My email said:

You even acknowledged the truth on 26 January:

No wonder the general public has such a poor opinion of journalists.”

His reply was: ” I did have the longer version in my original copy, but I cut it to make the sentence more readable – I think the reader would have understood what happened.”

Kind of supports my point about journalists doesn’t it?

I don’t have any issues regarding gay couples wanting to have children. What I don’t get is if this was a straight couple who had paid for a surrogate mother in another country, then couldn’t get the children back to NZ, my sympathy would be the same.

Non existent.

If they choose a surrogate closer to home, or maybe adopt?

Griff the homosexual marriage issue was debated but the good people of New Zealand never got to actually vote on it. No party prior to the election ran on the issue of gay marriage and there was no referendum. If there was a referendum the gay side would have lost as Kevin what’s his face admitted in a town hall meeting in Masterton.

One good thing about the flag debate was the binding referendum where the people of NZ could actually have their voice heard. That sadly has been the exception and in the case of gay marriage and gay rights generally and the antismacking bill the people of NZ were never given a chance to have their say. Instead huge left wing changes were forced on the people through the collusion of our MPs and the mainstream media in private members bills.

When both major parties support something, you can usually be quite sure that it will have very wide support among the public. That’s one reason why the core features of our social democracy are so stable.
There is nothing to stop anyone forming a political party based on denying human rights to LGBT people or legalising assaults on children. Maybe throw in a few other policies and you would have a real vote winner.

humans and great apes have an ancestor in common… but humans, chimps, bonobos, gorillas, orangutans have evolved along separate lines after diverging from their common ancestry.

Chimps and bonobos will consume animal flesh.
All of the great apes will consume insects, eggs etc….. They are not obligate vegetarians

No conclusive data either way as a referendum has never been held on this issue but due to events overseas and a growing disquiet with Muslims in general I reckon NZ would overall vote no to this if given the opportunity.

There was a young two times a day mosque praying Muslim who phoned ZB this morning. He was asked a couple of curly questions about Islam and both answers were, ‘you will have to speak to a scholar about that’. The kid didn’t even know what the punishment was for leaving Islam. Goes to show constant praying to Allah dulls the mind, because this kid thought mohamed was a lovely peaceful guy who wouldn’t hurt a fly.

Dunno. Wasn’t there. But as insects were likely plentiful and readily accessible, I don’t think operating at a 1km range was necessary. Nor was the eating of carrion likely difficult. Not particularly hygienic I know, but, hey, I don’t think the niceties of dining such as using a knife and fork were a priority for them!

Chimps are known to sometimes hunt and eat small animals. They also use rudimentary tools such as sticks to dig termites out of their mounds and they use rocks for things such as smashing the hard shells of nuts.

Mikenmild you are the biggest source of disinformation on this blog. Kevin Hague said in the Town Hall in Masterton while arguing against holding a referendum on gay marriage that and I quote “minorities don’t do well in referendums”. He knew gay marriage was a referendum loser and admitted it.
Regarding the anti smacking bill the polls showed it was opposed by 85% of New Zealanders.
Unfortunately there is a progressive collusion by both major parties on these issues and the will of the public has been thwarted.

Rangitoto – When you substitute Roman Catholic Church for “Rome”, or just “the West”, it makes more sense – what little sense it does make. It just means the seat of the religious adversary as they see it, through their 7th century view, albeit probably more true to the Prophet.

Based on all the down ticks you get I reckon the concensus is we have more than enough diversity in NZ. In fact we rate as one of the highest in the world for diversity. I note none of my homosexual friends want any more Muslims ( and that’s their friends view too). I’d observe most feminists are probably against the idea too. Especially those who are concerned about FGM.
And then of course all dog lovers won’t be keen as well.
As for you, if you think so little of us to call us a “lunatic fringe” then maybe you should go elsewhere. You won’t be missed.

It’s the system itself that is in conflict. For the civil system: “the will of the people shall be the basis of the authority of government”, but in the context of the constitution the authority of government is conditional on the application of the rule of law.

For example in the civil system an agreement by the body politic to defraud people of their rights is called legislation, but at common law it is called conspiracy.

All on Red, the downticks I receive is more a reflection of a far right element ( possibly migrating from True Blue NZ etc ) rather than the real consensus that exists out there than in your and their bubble world .

Homosexuality does not mean your immune from biases and prejudices and I would think they have their fair share of racists too. Some would also believe e.g the pseudo science of the Bell Curve and inferiority of Africans often touted here .But then many would not.

As a matter of interest do your University graduate parents believe the same about the Bell Curve ?
