  If its worth more than the paper its written on dont send anything by post. All you are doing is giving Xmas presents to the NZ Post staff, contractors or people walking past your letter box. Courier and tick must be signed for by recipiant is the only safe way these days. I have a bus stop outside my gate and I find every day my mail box open. They evan steal my junk mail. (Blessing in disguise). I now get nothing by mail, email the bill or you wont get my business.

        I’m not trying to win Trump supporters over, because I can see that what they have is more of a religious belief than a rational one. And I’m not trying to call them assholes (but I’m also not going to accept being called similar things by them).
        
        But I’ve always believed Trump is unsuited to be President. And there is more and more evidence stacking up on that side of the ledger.
        
        So as a principled right-winger you have a choice to either swallow those principles and support him just because you’re tribal, or stand on your principles and call out the bad behaviour. Maybe the pope has something to teach us about immigration management. Saw an “angry face” on TVNZs “news” last night.A person from the so called “green party” who answers to ME-TU .It is not hard to see why the greens/Liebour Party decided to join both at the hip. The “green party” person is a perfect foil for Angry Andy Little,green/liebour party are hell bent,on running NZ. Seems looking and listening at both suspects ,the only running they are capable of doing is running off at the mouth.

An utterly brilliant article from Jim Goad over on Takimag in their feature series on what they describe as the biggest issue of our time: “Globalism”:

As far as I can tell, globalism is a scheme concocted by the rich to destroy the working and middle classes through worldwide financial imperialism.

Indeed – we’ve only been able to keep up appearances by borrowing eye-watering sums and families having 2 breadwinners whereas a middle class lifestyle of 2 generations ago could be achieved by one without 30 year mortgage, student debt, credit cards etc.

I have a strong hunch that globalism is also a plot hatched to obliterate indigenous cultures and real human differences under the deceptive ruses of “multiculturalism” and “diversity.”

What is euphemistically called “diversity” is really “confirmity”, especially in large cities. Can Paris really be called Paris if your main encounters are with Arabs and Africans rather than French Parisians?

This is why I’m confused whenever I hear someone say they hate “the rich,” oppose “imperialism,” and support “the working class” while being an unquestioning cheerleader for open borders and global government……

It shows how intellectually bankrupt so much “left vs. right” political debate is. The white working class have gone from the the whole raison d’etre of the “Left” to being enemy #1.

Those who’ve lived most of their lives with a sad and simple choice between working and starving can feel the disdain that the sneering global elites have not only for them personally, but for their culture and their humanity and their very existence.

Whatever jobs these wealth-crazed control freaks couldn’t pack into wooden crates and send overseas, they are more than happy to undercut wages here by importing “migrants” both legal and illegal who have nothing in common with you culturally and are trained to deride you as an evolutionary throwback if you dare to complain that the elites are laughing in your face as they pull the rug out from under you.

I guess most people who comment on here don’t compete at the blue collar end of the job market and have escaped the worst of what’s happened but it must be pretty galling to see no real wage increases since the 80’s and being told you’re lazy because you must now compete in a job market with 3rd worlders who will work for the minimum wage that is enough to rent, let alone buy a place.

Globalism replaces First World workers with Third World workers and calls them “racists”—the modern equivalent of “niggers”—if they dare to make a peep about it. While it may be a boon for transnational financiers and manual laborers in Malaysia, for workers throughout the West, globalism has been a trapdoor through which they are likely to hang swinging at any moment.

This “racist” castigation is only recent phenomenon in NZ compared to say Britain and is being pushed by the MSM & Devoy etc. but already I see the huge divides this is creating in our society. It needs to stop-loss we follow others disastrous path.

But as many of us are learning, the mere act of realizing you’re being fucked over—much less trying to stop it from happening—automatically makes you a Nazi and an anti-Semite and a white supremacist and a toothless, low-information rube who needs to be replaced on the assembly line by someone with more melanin and less money

Nowhere was this more evident than post Trump. The violence, subversion & hate directed at decent law abiding citizens.

As I say, it is no longer “right vs. left” but right vs. wrong. Globalism is a disease that will destroy us of we don’t destroy it. We’ll end up like Brazil in 20 years if something doesn’t change here in NZ.

Following on from yesterdays debate about free range eggs and their veracity. In the need for evidence of truthfulness in advertising, Mrs Holy and I were watching an advert on TV for Nivea Firming body oil.
If this product is as good as its advertising says, Mrs Holy suggested I get some to put on that part of my body that, in her opinion needs firming.

Diddly squat Smith.

I have a mate who has ten acres not far from a new water bottling plant.
This plant extracts millions of litres and produces nothing.

My mate has a few sheep and cattle.
He had to spend $4500 to change the well head so a meter could be installed to comply with Smiths demands that every well had to have a meter.
He has monitoring fees ,annual fees and has to send a usage report to council EVERYDAY .
He only irrigates a few times a year and the council are hounding him for his nil returns.
Repeat this around the country and you see huge amounts coughed up to councils for nothing.
If Smith thinks the take by the water bottling plant is diddly squat then the amount taken by the small producers is infinitesmal but is incurring disproportionate costs.
His latest Resouce legislation changes are a total disgrace.

Given that pure NZ water is being pumped out and sold overseas while we are regularly and earnestly told that farmers are to blame for overusing water irrigating their farms, and the less than perfect rivers in some areas.

  If you charge the overseas companies you will also need to charge the local ones. The beweries, the dairy factories, the councils, food processors, meat works etc. the price of goods will go up. Who will get the money? The council, the government. The administration costs will be through the roof. All for 0.0004% of our water.

Wrong, people of Palmerston North, and do any of you care that your district commander Sue Schwalger deemed the same to be true when declaring she would not look for the killers of Scott Guy, even after the late Greg King proved she had arrested the wrong guy?
This was 10 kilometers away, and 10 years on.

        Here are some facts then
        1. The defence witness in MacDonald heard 3 successive gunshots at 5 am, the same time as MacDonald was disabling a cowshed alarm. She was the local gun club champion so understands gun shots. The gun Ewan had theoretical access to needed reloading after shot 2.
        The jury understood this, so said de facto that someone else shot Scott Guy.
        2. The time between filing and acceptance in the privy council for Mark Lundy was the shortest in 180 years at the privy council, and they focussed heavily on the tissue claimed to be brain. They noted it was rotten and unrecognisable by New Zealand scientists, and that Rod Miller from Texas was unqualified as a forensic scientist.
        3. Jono Galushka was the third full time journalist besides Mike White and Steve Braunias to cover the Lundy trial. He declares that if the brain is gone the crown case is gone. Steve and Mike have gone as close as New Zealand journalists go to declaring Mark innocent, and they, (I understand), have read extensive case material unseen by the public. The importance of this is that the petrol and time of death problems resolve and Mark’s alibi in Petone has integrity.
        4. Malcolm Rewa did kill Susan Burdett and New Zealand juries and appeal courts fingered the wrong man.
        5. Len Demler did kill Jeanette and Harvey Crewe and New Zealand juries and appeal courts fingered the wrong man.
        6. David Tamihere did not kill the Swedish tourists yet a new Zealand jury and an Appeal Court said he did.
        7. David Bain ditto, though flat earthers around here do not understand the import of the initial pathologist Dempster immediately writing down it was a contact wound with a clearly defined 10 mil circle of soot surrounding the sole gun shot wound to Robin’s temple.
        
        So you trust the police case in the Lundy trials? It is the same pattern.
        How could you accept it as a closed case, and accept the killers are allowed to run free?

They happened nearby, and were not random killings, so we must look for a reason. They are probably only related in the sense the police arrested the wrong people. The Lundy killings look like meth crimes if you consider the scene with the blood shadow and the savagery, yet it was not a random home invasion, as some patience was needed at the crime scene. It has been repeatedly pointed out that Lundy was in the middle of a debt scene where people were getting impatient to be paid. A name suppressed witness, now deceased, had given Lundy an invoice for 500k, and touted this paperwork to promise others they would be paid when Lundy paid him. The crime flowed from these circumstances.

      As do you Notsofast. And might I say, the theory you present is a pretty far-fetched one. Certainly two High Court juries rejected the defence arguments on behalf of Lundy, who in my considered opinion is exactly where he should be; behind bars.
      
      Those juries didn’t even have to accept “very solid proof” of Lundy’s innocence. All that required was that the defence show there was reasonable doubt as to the Crown’s case. That neither did so, and that Lundy was twice found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt by juries of his peers suggests that he is indeed guilty, despite your strident pleas on his behalf.

        As I pointed out the same is true of Arthur Thomas and Teina Pora, so there are fine precedents for dual processes getting the wrong answer.
        In the first Lundy trial the defence conceded it was human brain on the shirt, so the jury had little chance but to convict.
        In the second trial the defence refused to attack Immunohistochemistry as a procedure.
        This was a disgraceful matter, because it is an illegal process in America, and is allowable only on material which is removed from a known organ, immediately preserved in formalin, and then the science is supposed to differentiate diseases afflicting that organ. This is totally different to what Rod Miller did. The jury had to work with an inadequate defence. I know all the details of who argued what within that three person team, and they are responsible for losing the trial.
        The other failing concerns the dna of more than one unknown male beneath the fingernails of the victims. David Hislop made a good fist of presenting this, but Justice France left it from his summing up, and Hislop failed to draw this to his attention, so the jury retired regarding this as unimportant evidence.
        Is it though, because foreign dna has a very short life under fingernails, due to ordinary hand washing. Their hands had not been washed since this dna arrived, therefore it is probably that of the killer.
        I realise this is seismic stuff for your Palmerston North friends who want to forget the case, but this is impossible. I feel sorry for Craig Lundy for accepting the police fabricated story, but the sooner he fronts the facts as his sister has, the better he will make the transition.
        This is a train wreck designed by the Palmerston North police force.

On Fox a white ‘film maker’ was interviewed by a woman journalist. He was doing a movie on blacks and crime, and how the police ‘pick on them’ because they are black; the usual story. Anyhow this film maker was clearly unhinged and was screaming and writhing in his seat, his head swinging from side to side. His theory on where the bullet went on Brown’s head has been discounted by investigators; another snowflake lie.

Geert Wilders is very clear. The Koran will be banned. All copies of the book will be removed from libraries and bookstores. If any liberals want to be martyrs then they can walk around holding Korans and face jail time.

And mosques are gone. Some Muslims might try holding mosques services at home but under the proposed law they will face prosecution too.

Islam will be banned from Holland. Freedom can then reign again.

Muslims must be placed in an inferior legal status, just as they wish for us. A “jizya” tax, something they have adored over the centuries, must be levied on them and all public support terminated.

Every 100 families must be responsible for each family member. Political activity, and offenses against property and persons, Muslims or non-Muslims, must lead to deportation of the Hundred. Trains from all over Europe must run as frequently as necessary to deliver Muslims being repatriated to Turkey.

Muslim families who have one female who has been mutilated must be instantly deported and the male head of family imprisoned for 15 years. Muslims must abjure in 90 days or be deported. Imams, Koranic scholars, and any Muslims who have been politically active must be immediately isolated and deported. Period. Mosques must be torn down. Possession of a Koran must be made a felony.

Muslims who abjure might rise to a slightly higher status but be subject to instant removal upon evidence of false swearing.

Anything less than this is just prolonging the agony.

I disagree with Geert Wilders on one point. He says all Korans must be destroyed. I would prefer to keep a very small number in secure locations for study by trustworthy national security personnel. We have to be able to understand the enemy. But no question that Geert is right to seek to remove the Koran from all public places, especially bookshops and libraries.

  It’s not the Koran that’s the problem but the way its teachings are interpreted and acted upon.
  You can find plenty of “kill any … who …” passages in the English translations of the Old Testament of the Bible.
  The point is that Christians choose not to follow these passages to the letter. Islam must do likewise and become secular, or risk banning on the grounds of being a dangerous political movement.

  I am not a political expert like the proprietor of Whaleoil but I was watching question time yesterday. My conclusion was somewhat different. I thought Peter’s came across as a bumbling idiot which allowed Brownlie to be a smart ass with him.
  
  Slater has already stated on the record that he is likely to vote for NZ First this year. He has his reasons and it’s his right to do as he chooses.
  
  I find it strange that he and others who claim to be to the right of National would contemplate voting for NZF who let’s face it might just as easily go with Labour after the election as National. Nor do I see how such people can see NZF as providing anything other than an obstacle to National getting through a sensible legislative programme.
  
  I suspect that in Slater’s case the reasoning has more to do with his bitterness towards English and Key than anything else. But to see others hanging on his every word is puzzling to say the least.

Bugger all have contributed to our exports, and this ~~cake~~ alleged construction company isn’t going to grow into an international civil-engineering giant.

It’s all about who has the power to get their way when the issue comes up.     Had one of the most memorable work parties ever on the Wanganui River Paddle Steamer a few years back.
    Whole boat got absolutely hammered then the booze ran out and a near riot erupted with the cutlery and plates from the buffet meal being hurled overboard and a couple of fist fights on the top deck.

Tamihere murdered those Swedish tourists. He was driving their car around the Coromandel with their camping gear in the back knowing they wouldn’t be reporting it missing and the reason he knew that was because he knew they were dead, having murdered them prior.
David Bain almost certainly murdered his family. Dempster did say the wound to Robin Bain’s head was close contact but he also said it was a most unusual wound for a self-inflicted wound. Nothing to stop David Bain from holding the rifle against his father’s head. Laniet Bain had two hard contact wounds to her head and she did not commit suicide. What you need to do is focus on the damaged glasses frame that was found on a chair in David Bain’s room and the lens from those glasses that was found in Stephen’s room. Even Binnie accepts that David Bain was wearing those glasses that weekend. Are you able to come up with an explanation as to how that frame came to be damaged and how that lens came to be in Stephen’s room? Binnie was not able to. I reckon David Bain was in Stephen’s room on the morning of the murders and the frame of those glasses was damaged when he was struggling to overcome his brother and at the same time one lens fell out.
That’s my explanation.

  One plausible explanation that fits the evidence is the father murdered the family and was waiting for David to return. David returns, wrestles with the father shoots him and makes it look like suicide. Father supposedly had motive ( incest to be divulged), David did not. As for motive, how about this. David Bain was a penniless paper boy. He knew the estate would be worth something. Only a couple of days after the killings he mentioned to a female companion that he was worried about family friends who had borrowed some money not being able to repay it.
Another point. The only reason why Laniet was home that night was because David had asked her to come home for a family meeting. So the one night she is home she gets murdered.

It has just occurred to me that there might be an interesting game afoot in Washington.

Paul Ryan’s health care plan is ridiculous, so much so it doesn’t seem possible he doesn’t know that.

It seems likely it’s deliberate.

Everyone hates it.

Interestingly there’s a small contingent of Republican supporters, off to the side of the party, suggesting it’s time for universal health care.

I am beginning to suspect there’s a plan to make fundamental changes to U.S Health Care in motion, built around making it starkly clear how inefficient and un-reformable Insurance as Health Care is.

I am forming a suspicion there’s a plan within the Republican party (possibly with, but also possibly without Trump in the picture) to make expanded MedicAid the core of a new public Health Care Plan, and much of what is going on is theatre designed to prepare the ground.

  The current republican health care plan is not about health care but tax giveaways for the already wealthy. It is presented as a budget bill where the threshold for passage is 51% of the congressional vote where an actual health care plan – not a budget plan – would require a threshold of 60% of the congressional vote because it allows for a filibuster. It is a neat little legislative trick based on congressional rules written by – congress.
  There is no way the republicans would do something as reasonable as medicaid for all. They are ideologically ‘market driven’. Read the words in the bill. It talks about access to health care insurance. Health care insurance is not the same as health care. ‘Obamacare’ was a giveaway to the health insurance companies the way the Wall Street bailout in 2007-2008 was a bailout of the investment houses that fund their political campaigns.
  There are ways to reduce health care costs in the US – one easy one, which will save tens of billions of dollars a year, is to allow the government to negotiate drug costs with pharmaceutical companies – the way they do with the veteran’s administration. It is against the law – a law passed by congress – for the government to negotiate drug costs in medicaid and medicare, but okay to negotiate drug costs for the military.     As such it is common to see vowel errors when read in English.

The teenage birth rate has fallen dramatically.
There are multiple reasons for this, not least Rodney Hide’s suggestion that teenagers are having virtual sex instead of real sex.
Far fewer teenage girls are becoming teenage mothers so there are fewer available to even become beneficiaries. Most still do.
What influence government policy is having? Who knows.

A Jewish neighbourhood watch group has reported a road sign which appears to warn “beware of Jews” to the police.

The sign, which appears to depict the silhouette of an orthodox Jewish man wearing a traditional Fedora hat, was found just 200 yards from a nearby synagogue in Stamford Hill, north London, on Tuesday.

It was spotted by a member of a local Jewish neighbourhood group, Shomrim N E London, which then reported it to Hackney Police

The New Hampshire House killed a bill Thursday that would have raised the minimum legal age of marriage to 18 years, from the current ages of 14 for males and 13 for females.

At the start of Thursday’s session, this bill looked in good shape to pass. After all, it had received the unanimous backing of the House Committee on Children and Family Law, and bill supporters said it seemed commonsense that minors lack the maturity to enter into marriage.

But Republican Jim Spillane of Deerfield – argued it would hurt young veterans and their families.

“They would not be able to get married before he deployed – they would not get benefits. And unfortunately if he was somehow injured or hurt when he was deployed that child would be left without a child and without benefits,” Spillane told lawmakers on the House floor.

Goods producers added 106,000 of the new jobs, with construction jobs swelling by 66,000 – the most in 11 years – and manufacturing jobs by 32,000.

Claims for unemployment benefits are also at the lowest for 44 years, suggesting employers are confident about the future.

“Companies employing 500 or more workers increased staffing by 72,000 jobs; payrolls rose by 122,000 at medium-sized businesses, or those with 50 to 499 employees, the most in three years; while small companies’ payrolls gained 104,000, an eight-month high,” reports Bloomberg.”

Not bad for the man derided by the left as the “next Hitler”…….

  Trump has already delivered on most of his election promises. Something Obama did not do in two full terms. In fact Obama actually took the USA backwards in the areas he promised to improve on.

  Given your source is Infowars, I thought I might look at other reports.
  The latest job numbers I can find show that the Department of Labour reported that employers added 235,000 jobs in February. Still terrific, right?
  So why did guys like Reince Preibus and Sean Spicer describe higher monthly job numbers under the previous administration as mediocre, disappointing, or evidence that Obama was murdering the American Dream?
