Monday on National Radio we had Tim Oughton ‘Executive Principal’ (read: Headmaster) from Auckland’s exclusive Kristin School espousing the virtues of non-gender specific toilets and uniforms for non-binary students.

He said, and I quote ‘I would never want to force a student to do anything they don’t want to do’

This is from a school’s headmaster?

The 1% of kids who don’t know which team they bat for can use the teacher’s toilets. How would the PPTA like that?

In the same programme, Counties Manukau Police Inspector Glossop was exasperated at the level of youth crime, especially aggravated robberies of dairies and the tender age of offenders.

Bring back corporal punishment.

The cane wasn’t that bad. Drew a line in the sand. And before anyone says ‘it’s brutal!’ well so is rugby and that’s drummed into our boys, many of whom sustain life-changing injuries from childhood.

The cane never gave anyone life-changing injuries.

The two stories above make me wonder about the future of this country’s children.

  The level of exclusivity for attendance at Kristin School would suggest the principal has never had to deal with the same issues a principal from say a south Auckland secondary school. I would go as far to say that “gender neutrality” is probably higher on the list of PC bullshit for this school and likely the parents. I wonder if the same attitude is prevalent at Vanguard Military School or Sunderland School here in West Auckland? I bet not, the focus is on education, discipline and hard work. Gender neutrality is the hobby horse of hand wringers of the left and those who prescribe safe area’s for gazing at sky fairies and kid gloves for bullies.

      It would be interesting to see if charter schools were as accepting of this rubbish. It’s common knowledge the teaching profession is infested with snowflakes hell bent on indoctrinating our young people with the same failed ideologies. I suspect charter schools are far less swayed by this PC, social engineering crap.

    The original HoC was certainly based around a Conservative PM sam. Given that this is season 5 of the US version, it’s well past the point where it could be based on Trump, especially when you consider that right up until November 8th, no one gave him a snowball’s chance of becoming President.

  It’s an excellent drama albeit based on the opposing pole of my political globe. Am only half way through season 2 and I am very much enjoying it. Kevin Spacey is a very talented actor and plays the most devious of characters exceptionally well. I would rate the show 4 out of 5 as far as Netflix originals go.

        I wouldn’t donate or bequeath money to the Greens or Labour, but up till now I’ve heard only good reports about High Court judge, Robert Smellie, QC.
        
        He’s entitled to give his money to whomever he pleases, as we all are.
        
        Let’s hope Kiwiblog readers are in total are at least counter-balancing the judge.
        
        Re KeepingStock at 8.17 or Stephen2nd at 9.47 making a play on the name: “Smellie” is a very old surname, which Wikipedia says is of Scottish origin and gives a list of distinguished Smellies. The most common occurrence of the name is in the United States and England.
        
        Given the viciousness of children when in mobs, I reckon it could be character building to grow up with a traditional British surname such as Smellie, or Bottom, or Balls, or Willy, or Handcock, or Nutter. Character building in the way described in the song by Johnny Cash, “A Boy Named Sue”.
        
        The rest of us can be reassured that in one of the world’s thousands of languages our surname very likely means something surprising.

    Japan is grappling with this issue (and China is watching with interest). If anyone can crack this nut, Japan can. Mind you, the methods may not be workable outside of Japanese culture, and will probably involve:
    
    – home-helper robotics
    – local community information networks
    – assisted death (doing one’s duty for Japan)
    – temporary assistance from licensed and regulated short-term Asian home-helpers
    – a modern version of “obasute-yama” (I really hope it doesn’t come to this one)

      Need higher taxes on the childless to balance their free-loading on the 10’s of thousands of hours of unpaid work that parents do to create new assets for the state (tax payers) who support them and wipe their arses in their old age.
      
      Probably the biggest help would be free creches and after-school programs to allow parents to continue working without the huge financial penalty that paying for child minding imposes.

  Germany has been trying to conquer Europe for a century plus now and the EU was just another Trojan horse for them to achieve that goal by diplomatic/economic means.
  
  Which was a strategy that was working, until the UK broke ranks and showed that there is life after a failed political EU union. The immigrant crisis was working wonderfully, it distracted more and more from the stronger and stronger position Germany was putting itself into with:
  – huge unpayable loans to southern European countries
  – leadership among the larger mainland European countries
  – being able to bully late joiners like Hungary and Poland re their Schengen responsibilities.
  
  Now with the UK subsidy disappearing and US welfare support for NATO going it’s all looking unsustainably expensive leading to the inevitable re-militarisation of Germany (again).
  
  How long before history repeats itself and German tanks roll across the border into Poland as Germany helps Poland “fulfill” it’s Schengen obligations to welcome Islamic ~~terrorists~~ refugees?
  
  And as usual, after Europe has totally f***ed itself up at the hands of the Germans – who will be there to tidy things up (again! for the third time) – the UK and the US (oh yes, the ones that Merkel is demonising right now).
  
  It’s in the German DNA – I know why don’t we call this Krautophobia!

      The interesting thing about German cars is that when new they cost twice as much as Japanese cars, when 8 years old they’re worth the same, and when 15 years old they’re worth half.
      Because at 200,000kms they cost twice as much each year to keep on the road than what they’re worth.

        My trusty Toymotor Prado (I have had from new) is sitting on 292,000kms and they most expensive thing its had done is the radiator that had a stone hole in it. Other than that brake pads and oil filters.
        Tempted toward a VW toerag but i have heard bad things about upkeep for the German lass!

        It does depend on the make & model; I have a VW that unfortunately has suffered from electrical issues (traced eventually to a chaffed cable to the electronic parking brake that shorted and scrambled parts of the ECU), the follow on model is a hell of a lot better as they re-routed the wiring – something I wish I’d known at the time but it only appears after about 5-6 years.
        
        Then again, a co-worker has a Nissan that has been almost as bad with transmission and cooling issues; and another with a Toyota that also had electrical problems. And don’t ask about the former co-worker who had a Prius and the battery decided that it had had enough.
        
        The best cars for longevity are ones from 1998 or so to around 2006. They have less electronic equipment and electrics to go wrong, and tend to have lower stressed engines and less fancy transmissions. Fewer turbo’s and the like.

        Do not buy modern ultra high pressure turbodiesels. The tiny parts of the high pressure fuel systems are a maintenance nightmare, any contamination in fuel can destroy them, and they are unreliable and hideously expensive (often >$10k) to repair, effectively writing off a vehicle that is more than 10 years old when they fail. 20 year old pre TDI diesel vehicles are now worth substantially more than TDI vehicles that are 10 years younger due to greater reliability.
        
        Direct injection petrol engines are only slightly better. Port fuel injected petrol engines with or without turbos are the cheapest vehicles to own over the longer term (turbos save a lot of fuel use but have slightly higher average maintenance costs due to occasional $1-2k replacements needed).

  If Germany had any intention of upping its military spending it would have already done so.
  
  It prefers to spend 1% of GDP on defence, rather than 2%.
  
  It cites foreign aid at a higher level than the USA to justify this lower defence spending, but it is only at .5% of GDP less than the .7% committed to back in the 70’s (the UK is at 2% for defence and .7% for foreign aid).
  
  Sans the UK, the Germans and French will soon have to determine on behalf of the EU whether NATO continues or not. An opportunity for the EU to have a standing army (back up to German dominance of the economics and politics of the EU) and develop an independent foreign policy.
  
  All consistent with Trump’s American first agenda – to withdraw from the world and end its days as a super power.

The police are sick of contacting the owner of the dangerously driven fleeing car only to find the ‘parent’ won’t give up the details of their little darling, some as young as 11 or 12 years old, out in the family car doing whatever they like at 2am.

  Don’t call them “police pursuits” waikatogirl. What they should be called is episodes of scumbags failing to stop, and fleeing the police.
  
  I have little sympathy for those killed or injured trying to do a runner. I have every sympathy for any innocent person they may crash into, and for the police officers who are hauled over the coals in the media and by the IPCA when one of these episodes has a sudden and tragic ending.
  
  If you run from the Police, you alone are responsible for everything that happens from that point.

Seems like a very dangerous game that could very well play out in ways unforeseen by its architects (assuming such architects exist and this whole scenario is not simply the result of gross incompetence).

Twelve months from when they first went public, have the Greens fallen out of love with Labour? Barry Soper thinks so:

It was a year ago today that the Labour leadership stepped up to the podium with the Greens to mark the bond they’d formed to change the Government this year.

They did something that would have sent a shiver up Helen Clark’s spine, embracing the Greens, saying after the election if they get to form a Government everything will be up for grabs, except for one job, finance, that would go to the man who came within a hair’s breadth of beating Andrew Little to the leadership, Grant Robertson.

That was to appease those who cringe at the idea of the Greens pulling the economic purse strings. But of course finance would be there for Winston Peters’ taking if he wanted his old job back.

As a first anniversary gift, the Greens breached their Memorandum of Understanding on Budget day by voting with the Government it has pledged to replace. Little told us he only knew they were crossing sides, when they started voting.

Soper also describes the MOU as “the Greens’ biggest mistake”. He goes on to say “They may think their association could attract some Labour votes for them, but if that’s their thinking, they misunderstand the tribal nature of that party’s followers. ”

Unfortunately for Labour, the number of “tribal” supporters gets fewer every election cycle. They are not quite a dying demographic, as NZ First supporters literally are, but Labour has become so factionalised in the last 20 years that few people now know what they actually stand for.

It was fun while it lasted, but it seems likely that Andrew Little will be climbing into an empty political bed tonight, rather than celebrating the anniversary with organic champagne, vegan food and the stimulating company of James and Metiria.

      I have been fortunate to have visited Waipoua and Manganui Bluff to observe first hand the same hangi pits and burial caves that Noel Hilliam claims contain evidence of early celtic visitors.
      None of those allegations are true and are constructs of an over active imagination.
      The iwi living around Waipoua and Kaihu are fed up with the antics of grave robbers and amateur sleuths trespassing on their land to prove their outrageous theories and lies and will continue to enforce a moratorium excluding the public from further vandalising their sacred places.
      Their is no evidence of any mysterious race of people having lived there pre maori. There are however unmarked graves of europeans spread throughout the vicinity that date from the kauri logging era that contain the bones of europeans killed in logging accidents or having died from natural causes.

Tried to listern to the America Cup commentary this morning. The commentaries are full of yachting jargon, then they spend minutes explaining what it means. Meanwhile NZ has gone from 200m behind to in front and we never find out why. We hear what “Oil” and “port” mean about three times per commentary. Why dont they just say “more effort” (oil) and right and left if they wont non yachting people to listern. PJ Montgomery is a great guy and a terrific rugby man but maybe this should be his last stint behind the microphone.

  Yes – coverage is pretty shit in terms of clear explanations to the lay person.
  
  And the graphics are awful – what’s the point on putting tiny font grey figures against a grey blue sea to show the distance between the boats. TGI really are doing an appalling job compared to the slick on screen work of Kiwi Ian Taylor’s lot in previous races.
  
  The boats are science fiction amazing and the racing is thrilling. It’s just the quality of the commentary detracts a little bit from it – I have to say though I don’t miss the Peter Montgomery Shortland Street quality lines and faux excitement from the old ponce. It always struck me that he would have been better placed being one of those awful latin football commentators who thinks the pinacle of professionalism is to draw out a never-ending shriek of “GOOOOAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL” everytime a team scores.
  
  Somewhere in the middle in terms of professionalism and informing would be nice. But hey, at least the Kiwis are competitive and looking good for at least a run to the challenger finals.

    Explanations work better on TV, hence Richie Benaud’s advice (and often long silences) “tell the viewer what they don’t know from looking at the screen”, but not on radio, where the commentator paints the pictures with words. Having a sidekick to add in technical detail as and when it is relevant is then useful.

  The Obama administration used the NSA and other spy organisations to snoop on US citizens in direct contravention of the 4th amendment and various federal laws. It did so especially in regard to the Trump campaign (but also other republicans) and fed this information to other domestic organizations including the Democrat Party and the Clinton campaign.
  
  Search for and find the recent FISA court releases and it’s serious rebuke of the previous administration and how it and the agencies it directed deliberately mislead and lied to the FISA court to gain extra access to domestic intelligence.
  
  But I suppose as far as the media is concerned, it’s OK when “they” do it.

      Kimbo, I believe that the President can unilaterally declare information to be declassified and release it in general but I’m not sure if that is the case here. The issue is the illegal surveillance of US Citizens not classified information as such. Otherwise it would be legal for the president to order the CIA to spy domestically, which Nixon tried but was unable to do.
      
      That’s, BTW, why Trump can legally release what was classified information to the Russian ambassador (if he did, we have a lot of froth but nothing concrete) it is perfectly legal. Not necessarily wise or clever (and not necessarily NOT wise or clever either) and possibly may damage a third parties intelligence gathering assets, but illegal by US law, no.
      
      And as Susan Rice (and Brennan) were part of this illegality it is going to be hard to exempt Obama given that they reported directly to him and Brennan has stated publicly that he conveyed some of this information to the administration and to Obama personally.

  Not sure if it’s still the case but it used to be that Judges not only get massive 6 figure pensions but they are also tax free. Because of judicial independance was the argument back in the 80’s, since judges have to rule against the Crown and taxing a pension is a potential coercive measure. I may be wrong but I think that was the rule back then.

    I’m not 100% sure either but I think back in the 90s the GSF calculation was changed to Taxed / Tax Exempt. So taxed at source (income tax) but paid tax free. Payments adjusted accordingly at the time.
    
    Since then changes to tax rates and thresholds have changed to the detriment of GSF recipients.

I’ve been pondering Mr Robertson’s Budget comments on last weekend’s Q+A. He said NZ has the fourth lowest productivity in the OECD but the Budget did not include anything to address that. Specifically no mention of capital, skills for the ‘future of work’ and increased R&D investment.

The way the world is moving, productivity is going to achieve huge boosts from the first and the third, particularly capital driven efficiencies from various forms of automation.

At the same time Mr Robertson said Labour would lower unemployment to 4%.

I’m having trouble reconciling increased productivity with 4% unemployment.

Can anyone help my understanding?

Little seems to forget that this is what happens when you are the elected Government of NZ and Helen Clark gave National the same predicament over intrest free student loans when they were the Government so stop whinging and get on to the job and why you are paid the largest salary in Labour.

“ It started with a late night walk on July 10, 2016. Seth Rich was talking with his girlfriend while walking through the Bloomingdale neighborhood of Washington, D.C., when there was some sort of altercation. Rich was shot multiple times and died shortly thereafter.

Nearly a year later, his death has become a cause célèbre among right-wing media and the fringiest elements of pro-Trump media, simply because he worked as a staffer for the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

The conspiracy theories started immediately. The day after Rich was killed, a Twitter user connected the murder with a lawsuit filed by Bernie Sanders supporters against the DNC. (This lawsuit would later be the subject of right-wing conspiracy theories after the death of a process server that the coroner would later conclude was caused by accidental polypharmacy, or a combination of drugs.)
The first right-wing version of the conspiracy theory was about confirming right-wing allegations against the Clinton Foundation. On July 13, conspiracy theory website WhatDoesItMean.com (previously cited by pro-Trump media) ran a piece, sourced to the Kremlin, claiming that Rich thought he was on his way to meet with the FBI about the Clinton Foundation when a “hit team” put in place by the Clintons killed him. The article also linked the conspiracy theory with two Russian diplomats who were expelled by the United States two days before Rich’s murder, and it concluded by claiming the hit team was captured on July 12 in Washington, D.C. The actual police events of July 12 had nothing to do with any of this. On July 14, Snopes debunked this conspiracy theory…”

  Rich was shot twice, in the back, and was alive and able to communicate when he was brought into the hospital. He died later that night, a couple of hours after being shot I believe.
  
  Botched robbery is the official explanation, no suspects named or apprehended, and no progress at all on the case was made. Rich did have some minor physical injuries (scrapes etc) that suggest a struggle. He was not robbed and his phone was not taken.
  
  Correct explanation a botched robbery ? Maybe, there were a lot of armed robberies at the time, few actual shootings and the robberies were basically successful (things were taken); but maybe if Rich resisted and was shot as a result the assailant(s) thought it best to scarper immediately and not to take anything as that could provide a link.
  
  But really, who knows, the penchant for secrecy just generates conspiracies. Be useful to have an independent look at the available information including Rich’s laptop, phone, and what his girlfriend’s facebook post really said.

      I suggest you read the post first stephieboy. I make no claim on whether Rich was murdered to order or just killed in a robbery that “went wrong”.
      
      My point is that one thing that makes these sort of conspiracies fester is that quite a lot of information is withheld allowing people to readily speculate on what and why.
      
      I do think it unlikely that Wikileaks (or the thoroughly unreliable KDC for that matter) have any direct evidence of contact with Seth Rich ; if there was any it would have been released by now. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t in contact, just that if he was it was via a cut-out, which would be the serious way to do it.
      
      Unlike some, I don’t think the lack of anything being taken is strong evidence for it being an assassination. Murder is a different class of offending from robbery and if your robbery goes wrong and you do shoot the intended victim, apparently fatally, a robber might well decide that discretion is the better part of valour as they say, and get the hell out – there’s always new marks to rob.
      
      The only interesting newish development is that his then girlfriend appears to have put up a post on facebook strongly suggesting that Rich was onto a voting scam to promote Clinton and that he planned to reveal it. She now denies that post but screen caps and other information exist of it. Doesn’t mean she is/was right, but interesting, and if Rich *was* murdered for political reasons, a very unsafe opinion to have.

Alleged criminal Kim Dotcom has offered to travel to the United States – if his conditions are met.

His solicitors in New Zealand have sent a letter to Robert Mueller – the Special Counsel appointed to investigate interference with the 2016 United States presidential election – offering Dotcom’s aid in the investigation.

However, as the US is seeking Dotcom’s extradition to face trial, they want to make sure he is allowed to return.

“Mr Dotcom has evidence that he considers relevant to the Investigation,” the letter reads.

“He is concerned that, should he travel to the United States voluntarily, he would be arrested and detained in custody on the current counts on which he has been indicted.”

His solicitors offer the following deal to Mr Mueller:

“Accordingly, for Mr Dotcom to attend in person in the United States to make a statement, and/or give oral evidence at any subsequent hearing, special arrangements would need to be discussed and agreed between all relevant parties,” the letter reads.

“Such arrangements would need to include arrangements for his safe passage from New Zealand and return.”

At first I thought it was a scam, but then they started asking political and social questions…
I was impressed at the breadth of their questions, just not with the fact that “only a few minutes of your time” became more than half an hour.
Now I understand why the results are skewed towards the responses of old people and unemployed/unemployable people with a smattering of academics that don’t actually do any work anyway

She also appealed to the Refugee Council of NZ. It wouldn’t be of any use to an NZ citizen seeking protection from a refugee. This is the organisation whose late secretary, Kailesh Thanabalasingham, may or may not have been the Kailesh Thanabalasingham deported from Canada for his alleged part in ethnic gang violence.

The council, the Government in general, Woodhouse in particular, and the Immigration Department have never revealed what they knew about the council’s Kailesh Thanabalasingham .

  This woman had taken out a formal protection order against a refugee who proceeded to abuse her. What divine right did Immigration have to deny her wish to withdraw her personal immigration sponsorship of the abusive applicant?

      Mr Woodhouse would now also meet with officials every three months to discuss their approach to such cases.
      
      In a letter to Immigration New Zealand, Mr Woodhouse asked for a formal briefing on whether the Akbari deportation decision could be reviewed.

      On my last night in Bangkok before heading down to Phuket, I was out having a beer in a quiet side lane just off the main drag in Nana, Sukhumvit when all hell broke loose about 50 metres away. Long story short, a muslim guy ( long beard, white robe, nasty looking prick ) thought it was his right to drag’ his’ Thai lady along the footpath by the arm and hair, obviously after a dispute about something. She was a ‘freelancer’..or prostitute as we call them.Then from outa nowhere 6 thai blokes appeared and were on this guy, beating the living shite out of him..knuckle dusters, batons, a stun gun lol you name it. After around 3 minutes of a continual attitude adjustment, the raghead was left munted in the gutter, allowing for the Thai ladys quick exit. The lady I was with explained to me that the Thai men involved probably didn’t know the woman who was with the muslim, however, they will always step up if “one of theirs is in strife”.   Indeed, they don’t. And with good reason. If not, then with a simple disassi=ociation you could avoid the cost of Immigration Department legal and other deportation if it comes to that.
  
  I’m not unsympathetic to the allegation of on-going abuse (but I repeat, that is a matter for the police, not Immigration in the first instance), but all of it was very avoidable, and is not to be laid at the feet of the Minister of Immigration. The policies are clear, and if and when you sponsor an immigrant those policies and potential risks are explained.
  
  Unless, you also want the Immigration department to adopt a policy – that would no doubt also be applied to the Family and other Courts of NZ, that in all cases a woman’s complaint against a male abuser and/or male partner are to be believed in their entirety, and he is to be punished with no recourse to natural justice? Hmm. You are getting more and more of a Social Justice Warrior by the day, Jack5. 😉

The claims that Plastic Carryout Bags are an environmental villain are simply not true. In fact, comparing the environmental metrics during the production, transportation, use, and disposal of carryout bags shows that Plastic Carryout Bags are better for the environment than paper or reusable bags made from Polypropylene or Cotton.

It’s well reported that Seal Team 6 was training for a de-capitation mission in NK back in March-April. Now we have this report:

South Korean news had previously reported that the USS Michigan, a submarine that moves special forces like US Navy SEALs, had joined the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier strike group off of North Korea’s coast after a secret mission.

The USS Michigan, a guided-missile, nuclear-powered submarine, appeared in Busan, South Korea. But even earlier, Chinese intelligence reported that SEAL Team 6 was training alongside South Korea’s version of the SEALs for “incapacitating” North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-Un.

…Signals intelligence recieved by Russian Far Eastern command, seemed to indicate a patrol had been inserted on a ground recon mission inside North Korean territory and that a chance encounter with a dog patrol had led to casualties among the American forces who broke radio silence to ask for help…

…The USS Michigan adds a stealth element and an extra set of eyes and ears to the already potent carrier strike group in operation on North Korea’s coast, but it doesn’t add much firepower. The US Navy destroyers accompanying the Vinson already have the kind of Tomahawk missiles the Michigan has. Yesterday Pete George linked to this tweet by “History In Pictures”. The tweet provides a list of reasons for admission to a lunatic asylum in the late 1800s.

If you click on the image to see the full list of reasons for admission to the asylum, you’ll notice that one of them was “deranged masturbation”. The mind boggles at the implied distinction between normal and deranged masturbation. In fact, several reasons mention masturbation: “masturbation and syphilis”, “masturbation for 30 years”, “tobacco and masturbation” and “suppressed masturbation”. They had all bases covered!

Other odd reasons for admission to the asylum were “kicked in the head by a horse”, “imaginary female trouble”, “over study of religion”, and “shooting of daughter”.

By comparison, some 130 years later, we live in enlightened times!

      Nosty I got terribly excited at my 10k and made a gushing idiot of myself but I’ve since realised not too many of us keep count of the amount of sentences we speak in a lifetime nor regard this as any kind of achievement so why would we do this on a silly hobby forum that at the end of the day is trivial, notwithstanding when Jews are mentioned it turns instantly deadly serious, for no apparent reason as far as I can see, anyway.
      
      Love your family, try not to hurt yourself and others, make peace where possible, if that doesn’t work, call them sheeple and other names because it’s not fair and they didn’t listen properly.
      
      That’s my current KB philosophy and it works for me. If the sheeple don’t appreciate it it’s their fault.

I said the other day I’ll be connecting some dots during the 9-5 shift over the next month or so, just cos I can.

Here’s a taster.

Unless you’re plugged in to the independent media, there’s a good chance that you’ve not yet heard of one of the largest and arguably most important cases of government infiltration in recent history.

On February 2, 2017, three Pakistani brothers with top access to the computer systems inside the U.S. House of Representatives containing some of the nation’s most sensitive information were removed from their positions by U.S. Capitol Police.

The three brothers who are the target of a criminal probe, deliberately understated as a “procurement scam” include Imran Awan, Abid Awan and Jamal Moiz Awan, each who were the “shared employees” of at least 31 Democratic Congressional Representatives. But the case itself and potential damage is much, much worse than is being reported, if it’s being reported at all.

While the corporate media is obviously more intent to prove some nebulous cyber connection between President Donald Trump and the Russians, they have yet to pay even the most basic lip service to this case of apparent espionage that has taken place at the highest levels of our government.

The Awan brothers had complete and direct access to information of three extremely sensitive committees: The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the Homeland Security Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The access to the information they had, along with their known or suspected affiliations to such groups as Hezbollah and the Muslim Brotherhood, has “shaken” government insiders with knowledge about the case.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz threatened the chief of the U.S. Capitol Police with “consequences” for holding equipment that she says belongs to her in order to build a criminal case against a Pakistani staffer suspected of massive cybersecurity breaches involving funneling sensitive congressional data offsite.

The Florida lawmaker used her position on the committee that sets the police force’s budget to press its chief to relinquish the piece of evidence Thursday, in what could be considered using her authority to attempt to interfere with a criminal investigation.

What I’m going to try to do over the next month or so is build a circumstantial case. It has to be circumstantial it can’t be otherwise. Because naturally, the documents, the evidence, while some of it is there, is possessed only by intel agencies, and how can any of us even if we worked in one possibly publish such on here?

But as any of the lawyers will tell you, circumstantial evidence is acceptable in a Court. It’s like a rope. One thread is inconsequential. A couple begins to build a strand. A bunch of strands form a rope. Sometimes you even have enough to build many ropes into a cable. And when you can do that, because the actual source evidence is unavailable, that’s acceptable, in a Court.

Watch this space, or just scroll past and downtick everything I post in the next month or so. I don’t really care. Just know that none of us tell you the things we do just to stir. We do it because we believe it really is how the world works. And if we and the several billion others of us are right, then isn’t that important?

And the last point is, if you do choose to read and comment on my upcomings, please drop your present conceptions of what you think I believe. I frequently see comments proclaiming Reid thinks this or that when actually, I think nothing of the kind. Listen to what I am saying, please don’t be thinking when you’re reading it: “Reid thinks that therefore he’s saying this because…” The only reason I’m suggesting you do that, is because it’s irrelevant. Focus on the message, not the messenger.

  They have called for the killing of white people and carried out those threats. They have regular violent riots. They captured a little disabled kid and tortured him.

Following the theme of “sunlight is the best disinfectant”, I plan to do a detailed analysis of the power of the Jewish lobby via Jewish owned media with the aim of hoisting them by their own petard (by using Jewish media as sources, I can’t be called a ‘Nazi” which is the usual tactic for shutting down the debate)

This week has been one when “normies” have been able to witness the unbelievable amount of power and influence and the ridiculous double standards when it comes to Jewish influence and how they exercise that power.

The most well know example is that of Katie Hopkins, despite being a voice of sanity of the silent masses, being sacked after kvetching from the Jewish lobby for a word crime over a “crime” 85 years ago that in 20 countries any facet is not even allowed to be questioned.

Reading Israeli newspaper Haaretz this evening, I’ve also come across this less publicised example of a Fox TV presenter who tweeted an inconvenient truth – that the greatest mass murderers in history – the Bolsheviks, were overwhelmingly Jewish, which, you guessed it, is being labelled “Anti-Semitic” with the presenter being subjected nasty and vicious attacks and threats.

The dam is now breaking – We are now at a stage where even normies are realising just who rules over them by seeing who they are not only not allowed to criticse, but now even mention in all but the most gushing terms.

Having read KB for some time I feel qualified to identify the two biggest threats facing the world today.

1. Trolls
2. Nazi’s

I had always thought Trolls were imaginary creatures invented to entertain little children. However with this many reported sightings I am forced to conclude we are over run with millions of them.

I must also conclude that we have been lied to about the events of world war two and that the war rages on with the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei [National Socialist German Worker’s Party] stronger than ever. It appears, that they have now invaded Aotearoa and are rushing about (among the Troll hordes) committing atrocities such as; treating Jews like everyone else.

This is the only reasonable conclusion available based on the testimony of milky and stupidboy.

  Perhaps prison psychologists are using trolling as an experiment to see that, by frenetic posting, psychopaths can work the angst out, and open their minds for empathy.

        Tolkein may have been referring to a more refined era of noble people and common folk than Hitler imagined.
        
        Still it would be good to have a Jewish, African and Asian perspective of Tolkein’s Orcs, Southrons, and Dwarves.

In the link below someone sees racism in Star Wars characters.

It’s ludicrous (and fit only for pushing General Debate towards 450 posts). Pirates are usually depicted as Englishmen, and Mafia members need to be Sicilian or southern Italian but most of us correctly see this as irrelevant.

I find it more interesting that Hans Solo is apparently an erratic pilot rather than the ace he depicted in Star Wars.

Finished watching House of Cards and then came across Back Benchers. Shit, the audience is stacked with strange lefties, and then there were the Labour leaders Little and Adern standing in the back. I could see Jacindas teeth gleeming on my 55″ UHD TV from the far end of our spacious lounge. All the MPs on the bench thought Mouldies should have a say ($$$) in selling water to overseas buyers. Back to Netflix.

When Global Warming mania abates, it might be time to ramp up fears about magnetic pole switch. Could the recent strong displays of Aurora australis be a sign?

One thing, though, Invercargill and Bluff will be at the top of the world, and Santa Claus could move the toy factories and the reindeer stud there.

As a matter of interest, Reid, I suppose you can’t be both an atheist and a satanist.

If you were an agnostic, you wouldn’t believe in Satan, but you wouldn’t rule him/her/them out, either.

Perhaps Kimbo, the resident theologian, can tell us whether Christians believe in Satan as well as in God, or if that’s heresy.

  If you’re a Christian Jack you have to (i.e. should) believe in the reality that Satan exists because if you believe in God then Satan is a part of that realm, but a lot of Christians don’t seem to be able to acknowledge his presence. Which I find quite peculiar.

The great and influential theologian Augustine at one stage followed a form of it known as Manicheaism, and the Zoroastrianism that originated in Persia, practised by the Parsees of India is a more recent example. Freddie Mercury of Queen came from a Parsee family. Oh yes, and Anton Levay was a money making shyster, no more interested in the Devil than Ozzy Osborne and Black Sabbath. However as horror movies were all the rage in the late 1960s it was a good business angle, and conservative Christians unwittingly gave them both lots of free publicity.

      Nope. Difference is in the meaning of the word belief. In English it includes the idea of mental assent to an idea, fact or concept. So “I believe Bill English is the PM”, or “the devil exists”. But in Biblical Hebrew, which also sets the parameters of meaning for the Greek of the New Testament, it means “to put your faith in/trust”. Which Scriptute commands us to to with God alone. Check out foolish King Ahaz in Isaiah chapter 7 as an example. As English has no verb for “faith” the clarity is lost. Now kindly don’t jerk me and others around with deceitful posts as you did today, there’s a good chap.

  I think it’s because many Christians want to focus on the good therefore thinking about the evil which is also part of this fallen world disturbs and distracts them from their focus.
  
  Personally I think this is a mistake since there is a lot of knowledge about God and His wisdom to be gained through observing the evil of Satan.
  
  But there we are.

This is a bit like Ben Franklin, who was a member of the Hellfire Club.

Maybe I’ll cover that in more detail sometime this month.
