RIP David Allanson
July 3rd, 2012 at 6:01 pm by David FarrarDavid Allanson died unexpectedly this morning. David had worked at Parliament for 23 years as a security guard. As with many of the security team, he was a first class person who was always friendly and interesting to talk to.
Despite me having left the place eight years ago, Dave always greeted me warmly when I visited and made me feel like I had never left. He was a lovely guy.
My condolences go out to his family, and to his colleagues and friends. He will be missed by many.
