They’ve spent the next 10 years already on rail

From a Treasury report on the transport budget:

NZTA’s current forecasts suggest that the NLTF may be nearly, or fully committed over, the next ten years once planned investments in light and transitional rail are taken into account.

Basically this is Treasury saying there is absolutely no money left for roading, because Labour and Greens have committed the next ten years of petrol tax money on their rail projects.
