It just gets worse

There is a growing tsunami of claims about how Te Wananga o Aotearoa has rorted the system. Today we have the CEO’s fiance selling a course to the institution for millions of dollars and students with previous qualifications, staff and tutors had all been enrolled in this literacy and numeracy course.

I just can not believe that as funding skyrocketed in five years from $8 million to $239 million, the Minister did not take any action until last year to investigate the situation, or tighten the policy. Instead they are letting the Opposition do their work for them.

And to really put the boot in, Stuff reports that despite the course having not yet been assessed, the Government had already paid out $4.5 million for it.
