When did the Minister know?

All the evidence to date on the NCEA fiasco has been that the Ministers tried to keep the public from realising how bad the problems are.

Trevor Mallard claims that he did not know of variability in subject pass rates until the 25th of January, despite his office being told on the 17th of January.

So we are expected to believe that neither the staff in his office, or David Benson Pope’s office, thought to mention to the Ministers that certain subjects had a pass rate of below 1%?

Yeah Right!
