Cullen discovers fiscal restraint

After six years of spending our money as enthusiastically as Michael Jackson visits Disneyland, Dr Cullen has suddenly become concerned that “spending in those [education and health] areas had outpaced economic growth”.

If Labour is re-elected they plan to increase Government expenditure from $45b to a massive $57b. Oh yes, and give 67 cents a week back in tax cuts.
