Judicial Ruling Criticised

The NZ Herald is absolutely scathing of Justice Young’s ruling on the TV 3 Debate. They comment

Likewise, the ruling implies that every time Mr Anderton, or any other MP, expresses a view during a parliamentary debate, the media will be obliged to report it.

It is good to see that despite the debate having happened, TV3 are looking to appeal. There are huge principles at stake here.
