National on brink of victory

A Fairfax poll of 1,085 people taken up until Monday has National ahead of Labour by 6% and in the words of The Press “a step away from the Treasury benches”.

Leading Labour 43% to 37%, a National-United Future Coalition would have 57 seats, and with confidence and supply from NZ First 65 votes out of 120 to 123 seats in Parliament.

The Dom Post says “Don Brash is poised to become prime minister”.

However still three days to go.
