Why has one of Colin Espiner’s blog entries disappeared from the Stuff website?

Stuff’s treatment of this blog is all over the place,

If you navigate via the press section you can see the entries up to the 12th of september,
http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/thepress/0,2106,0a14895,00.html

But If you barrel in on a direct URL
http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3393328a6220,00.html

you can see the one for the 13th but the 12th and 11th are not included, but the 9th are,

I favour a codemonkey snarfu rather than a devious plot, but I have grabbed off line copies just in case, 🙂

Answer: Obviously a plot by VRWC tool (and incoming Fairfax CEO) David Kirk, who personally dictates every editorial decision made within Fairfax Holdings.

The missing blog entry is the one on Espiner’s visit to Otago Uni where he claimed Madeleine Flannagan hit him over the head with a billboard.

Funny how one day she is an ACT supporter, now she is an ex CHNZ supporter yet today she was seen openly campaigning with a National Party candidate.

I read the original article and it said that a woman hit him in the head with a sign. He didn’t mention any names in the version I read. So he was under no obligation to put in that someone in particular insisted she couldn’t possibly have done it. If anything it makes her look more guilty to have her named as denying it was she. I can’t say who did it but I know that if certain people told me that a hurricane hit New Orleans I’d want to verify it myself. Ever consider how sad and pathetic someone’s life must be when they go to such lengths to get noticed?
