The PM and the Pilot

Some interesting new details on the story.

Stuff mentions that the PM actually brought up with the pilot the fact the Government (majority) owned Air NZ and had bailed it out. She forgets to mention that they refused to let Singapore Air increase its investment in Air NZ, thus necessitating the Government bailout. And then they tried to flog it off to Qantas.

But more to the issue is that the PM was not travelling as the PM, but as the Party Leader on private political business. Still she managed to get not one but four apologies. I’m still waiting for Air NZ to apologise even once for the changes they keep making to the air-points scheme! 🙂
