Even by Government standards, a $210 million blowout is impressively large.

Makes INCIS look a roaring success.

Oh yeah, and just to remind people, the Government’s position is unchanged that there is no wastage in Government expenditure and no money for tax relief.

More to the point, I wonder what measures the Government has to hold to account the people who got the costings so wrong. Do they have at risk components of salary? Do they suffer any penalty at all that they were $210 million out?
