Economic Optimism

Guess which two countries have the highest levels of economic optimism in the world?

Afghanistan No 1 followed by Iraq No 2.

The BBC reports that in Afghanistan, 70% say their own circumstances are improving, and 57% believe that the country overall is on the way up. In Iraq, 65% believe their personal life is getting better, and 56% are upbeat about the country’s economy.

The two lowest countries are Zimbabwe and France!

Of course this measures relative change not absolute levels but still interesting.
