Hodgson nixes maternity review

It is a great pity that Pete Hodgson has rejected the coroner’s call for a full review of maternity services. As the number of GPs who provide maternity care has dropped from over 1,000 to a mere handful, mothers are losing their ability to choose.

It would be interesting to know the composition of the perinatal and maternity review committee which said no review was needed.
