Online Census

Just done my census online and took less than 10 minutes for both dwelling and individual forms. I am very impressed with speed and simplicity on the system.

I am probably one of the larger consumers of census information. In my former job I used it all the time for boundaries analysis, geographical polling breakdowns, correlations with key demographic variables etc. In fact I had a copy of the entire census database broken down to meshblock level.

Of course some see a forced census as a gross violation of human rights and are having a ritual burning of their forms at 8.30 pm in the Botanic Gardens.
