The Onion Strikes Again

Oh this is funny. Most netizens know about The Onion – the leading US satire site.

Well a blogger came across an old archived article from 1999 where a Miss Caroline Weber talks about how she is thrilled and looking forward to finally having an abortion. Typical Onion satire.

Anyway the March Together For Life blogger attacks Miss Weber for her article. He has 750 comments pointing out that the article is not real and The Onion is a satirical site.

He then responds a few days later, saying well the article may be satricial but he knows women like her who do enjoy abortions etc. He now has 602 comments on that post pointing out that there is no Miss Weber – everything about the article is satirical.

My God there are some very stupid people out there.
