Union Stupidity

Only in the education sector do you get such stupid unions, with the PPTA today oppossing extra pay for outstanding teachers.

The ultimate monument to union stupidity is the PPTA President’s claim “All teachers are good”. What arrogant and ridicolous stupidity. Of course they’re not. Teachers are not all cloned like imperial troopers in Star Wars. They are individuals and some are great teachers, some are good teachers and some are useless teachers. And no amount of training or support will change that some teachers are better than others.

The top teachers should be paid $100,000+ in my opinion. However so long as the PPTA insists that all teachers must be paid the same, they never will be.
