Mayor Kerry is restanding

As widely expected, Kerry Prendergast has announced she will stand for a third term as Wellington Mayor.

It will be interesting how many Councillors stand against her. Rob Goulden has said he is.

Outside Council, Georgina Beyer has said she is interested, but I don’t think that candidacy is taken terribly seriously.
