Online Banking Fraud

Good story in the NZ Herald about the issues around the banking code of practice.  The Dom Post and Computerworld have been on this issue, as has InternetNZ and Consumer’s Institute.

I’ve been part of the group working on the issue. It’s an interesting challenge defining where you draw the line between customers not being liable just because they don’t have say the latest security update, and not having any obligation at all on customers to keep their PCs or Banking accounts secure.
