Comments held for moderation

A comment is generally held for moderation for two reasons:

1. Because it has three or more links in the text (likely spam)
2. If you have not yet made a comment which has been accepted

So everyone has their first comment held.  Generally I’ll clear them within a couple of hours.

It does mean though that if you set up a fake hotmail account under my name and try and post as me, all your effort is wasted and your posts never appear on the blog, even for a split second.
