NBR on Kiwiblog

The satirical In Tray column of NBR devotes its entire column to Kiwiblog this week. Their article is below, and not just does a good job of taking the mickey out of me, but also several regular commenters:

Had a nice experience this morning. Just finished reading briefing papers from Bill and John and other Party friends, and thought it might be good to walk along Oriental Parade to think about new company strategy for Curia. Strolling by the sea I saw an animal in some distress! Went over and discovered it was an injured penguin!! Had to stop talking with Helen on my mobile about latest Curia poll results to help the poor creature. Called vet who promptly arrived and treated it.

So now I’m back in my jim-jams and sitting at the computer thinking about the penguin I saved and feeling pretty good about it. Isn’t life grandy and dandy?

Way to go DPF. Good to see people caring for less fortunate animals. Cheers.

Funny that. While rich Party supporters and their AmeriKKKan friends deplete the worlds resources theres old David saving the little penguins. Remind me again, how do you spell hypercrite?

whaleoil Says:October 5th, 2007, 8:19am
It’s “hypocrite.”

Thanks for the tip knucklehead. Could you tell us how to spell “Burmese hunta” while youre at it? I’m sorry but while youve been speaking the military goons in Asia have put even more pressure on the windpipe of democracy. … and what does everyone here want to talk about? Penguins? Please!?!?!

forget about burma. the best way for Aunty Helen and her Liarbour friends to fix THIS country would be to call an election today and hand over the rains of power to the Party.

Don’t you mean Socialist Party???
gd Says:October 5th, 2007, 8:23am
No he meant “ Party” loser.

Only fascists talk about saving penguins when there are so many other important things happening. Do you think decent people would be sitting around talking about penguins if we were in Nazi Germany during the 1930s?? No, they would be speaking the truth to power!

And while we’re at it, what was John Key and the National Party’s position on the Iraq War again?!?!

Hi David, Sorry I’ve been out of touch, but I’ve been very busy saying my goodbyes to everyone here in Parliament and realising again how hard it is for someone like me to hate everyone. Do you think it’s too late for me to contest the mayoralty this year? I have some new photos of my eyebrows a very clever publicist (hint hint!) could use for publicity! Cheers, Mark

Bad bad bad comprehension there junior. The real point is that the Greens and the Liarbour Party are supporting a bill that has universally been described as the worst piece of legislation that’s ever been passed anywhere since the time of the Nazis!!!! Youre all leftie scum and I hope you all die!!!!!

David P. Farrar Says:October 5th, 2007 at 8.26am
Hey, could you all PLEASE keep the conversation a *little* more civilised? I’ve got a really exciting post coming up about what happened a few moment ago when I went to the bathroom!!!!

You know what? If I wasn’t a weeny little nerd with a $70K a year job to hold down as a political party researcher I would pick up a gun and shoot every one last of you worthless Nazi scum dead!!!! After torturing you all slowly first!!!! Hahahahahaha!!!!
