Fairbrother vs Nash

Things seem to be getting fairly heated in Napier.

Incumbent Labour MP Russell Fairbrother, makes the Press for telling NZPA that (his challenger) is adopted, and hence not a “blood relative” of former Labour PM Sir .

I doubt Fairbrother is making himself any friends by going around saying that.

By coincidence, there was a minor debate on the same issue in a related thread last week. Stuart Nash himself posts that he has never used the term “blood relative” but his father is the eldest son of the eldest son of Sir Walter, and that anyone claiming he is not really a Nash should try it on with his mother first to see her reaction.

As I said, I doubt Fairbrother's tactics will go down well.
