Morning Report

Steven Price from the Campaign for Open Government and myself debated the bill on Morning Report this morning. I have a lot of respect for Steven and the COG, even though I disagree with them on the overall desirability of the Bill.

Before we went on air Steven talked me out of describing the Electoral Commission as a “pimp” for anonymous donations for parties, and I mentally changed it to “money launderer” but as it happens we never touched much on the donations side which was a pity.
