Cactus Kate has an interesting take on the Ropati verdict. She is not sure he is a rapist, but does conclude:

Regardless of the outcome of not guilty, Ropati is not innocent either, he needs some serious help and a kick in the pants from his older brothers who screamed and yelled boarishly at the Court once the verdict was passed down.

Personally the fact the complainant went to the Police immediately, plus the forensic evidence, had me thinking he would be found guilty.
